March 29, 200916 yr Newsflash from Jester's Kingdom: King Colm XVI Deposed as country declared a Republic King Colm XVI has fled Jester's Kingdom as the country is declared a Republic by rebel leader Philip Stoaling. In a dramatic coup, the King was forced out of the Royal Palace this afternoon and is understood to be hiding in neighbouring country Kopeka with his extended family. Stoaling, 33, has declared himself as President of The People's Republic of Jester and is understood to be forming a government as we speak. The deposition of the King faced little public opposition in the resource rich country as rumours of corruption by the Royal Family have been circulating over the past few months as the rebellion gained a following. President Stoaling fully supports the BJSC and has released the following statement: "This great Republic fully supports BJSC and our entry Sleepyhead by Passion Pit and wishes them the best of luck in Semi Final 1. June 17, 200916 yr Tinnbladet Queen Tone of Tinnmark is not Kingdom of Tinnmark's queen anymore, today she called in the president Erik André Åsnes to 'Sognfjord Palace' in 'Vestfjordane'. She said to the president that she don't think she will be the right person to represent Kingdom of Tinnmark, and that she is not handling the pressior. The people of Tinnmark have reacted in huge dissepointment and sadness, some people said she was perfect for the job and she was the right person to represent the royal family of Tinnmark. Tone said she want to go back to her old life, be touring around the Buzzjack World and make music. Later today, Tone arrived the capital, Åsnesia. To her house where she lived before she was crown the queen of Tinnmark. Media from all over the Buzzjack World have been outside her home in 'Midthill', where Tinnmark's most famous people live. We didn't get any comment from Tone, but The Royal Secretary Department had a conferrance earlier today that Tone is very tired and want to rest alone with her family in 'Midthill'. Alex has been dethroned and the democratic republic was proclaimed in Zurratown the 22nd of July 18:00 CET. The new state is officially known as the Federal Republic of Sangria. The president of the country is now Polly Darton who is waiting for their recognition within the BJSC world. After the takeover the first step was the change of the flag. The country is widely regarded as one of the greatest sporting nations, which makes up for it being rubbish in the song contest :kink:, the city has had several new stadiums built over its former poor district and has employed the poor to man the stadiums. July 23, 200916 yr Air Disaster off Ashtonise Coast Governa Republikken Ashton confirmed to press that a TigerAir Boeing 737-300 has crashed 15miles off the coast of Morpeth Cove. TigerAir flight 622TGA was en-route to New England Harbour Airport in Ashton's north via Morpeth Cove International Airport. The plane was at full capacity and had 200 passengers and 15 crew on board. The nationalities of those onboard is currently unknown, but the 15 crew are all thought to be from Dr Bombay's Tigerland. Recovery and Rescue missions are underway in the Bay of Morpeth searching for survivors and the aircraft's wreckage. The plane disappeared from MCIA Radar at 10:15am. The Ashtonise coast guard were quickly scrambled and confirmed a crash site. Military and Coast guard helicopters are searching for survivors and have been joined by 35 Military vessels and 15 Coast Guard vessels. The plane is thought to have shattered upon impact with the Bay. The black boxes from the plane have been recovered. A full investigation is underway by the Ashtonise Air Safety board in co-operation with the NTSB of the USA. 39 people have been confirmed dead so far. 622TGA is the first air disaster in 43 years to happen in Ashtonise airspace. An aircraft operated by an Ashtonise airline has not crashed in over 70 years. The Gwafino air disaster saw the bankruptcy of Gwafino Air and 1,274 people lose their lives in the worlds worst air disaster when flight GWAIR-045 crashed into Faythern City Centre. A passenger manifest has confirmed that of the 215 on board: All 15 Crew were from Dr Bombay's Tigerland 120 of the Passengers are also from Dr Bombay's Tigerland 43 Passengers are from the Capital City [Morpeth Cove] with the remaining 37 from the New England region on the Ashtonise north coast. 622TGA was due to off-load 104 passengers at MCIA and take on a further 56 and fuel as it flew to NEH. The plane left Tigerland International Airport at 10pm last night. The confirmed death toll has now reached 62 with no survivors found yet.
