February 17, 20178 yr Author I do like this and I think it's kinda cute but it's not one of her best ballads nor do I go back to it very much. The likes of Legendary Lovers or Walking On Air probably should've been singles ahead of this but I'm glad it got a push still and the video is rather gorgeous
February 17, 20178 yr UNCLE DE SEAN AL, UNCLE DE SEAN ALI, I WILL LOVE YOU UNCLE DE SEAN ALI. I liked it from when Zane Lowe used it as a guilty pleasure in his contest with Fearne Cotton on Radio 1 and he pointed out how epic the final verse was and I tend to agree.
February 20, 20178 yr I have to agree with the "utter shite" comments, sadly. It just felt like a ballad-by-numbers.
February 20, 20178 yr I don't really think it should have been a single, at least not second single anyway. The album had a number of choices that would have made a lot more sense but I'm glad they went with this because it's absolutely one of my favourite songs from her. I love the production and the chorus is HUGE and infectious. Yes the way she drags the title out over too many syllables is irksome, but if you've lived through Thinking Of You you can live through anything. I get why people don't like it, but I think if it hadn't been second single over the likes of Dark Horse, Walking On Air people would resent it a lot less. It's a 10 from me anyway.
February 20, 20178 yr I think this is actually her best for me, oops  She has so many amazing singles but there's just something about this, it's so epic and I can't help but belt out the chorus <3 I thought it would be a smash but in hindsight it probably should have been left as a standout album track, idk what went wrong but it's a shame it never caught on and smashed :(

My god that proto screech song is just painful to listen to. Completely agree that it shoulda been an album track. She could've made a video anyway like Beyonce does for non singles.
February 26, 20178 yr I still think this song deserved better even to this day, it deserved a top 20 UK peak at least, but being wedged between 'Roar' & 'DH', this didn't really stand much of a chance, and plus coming out so soon after the massive lead single didn't really help as that was still gaining huge airplay and sales, I don't think many people knew that this actually released. As the song itself...well it is beautiful and Katy's vocals are great on it and the music video is also stunning and captures the tone of the song really well and plus it was a refreshing change of pace, but yeah Katy's ballads always tend to be hit or miss and aren't really as well remembered as her up-tempo numbers and as for it being a single, well to be honest I didn't mind, thought it was a decent choice especially compared to some of the later releases from the album.
