18. I put all three, for casual listening I use Spotify but when I really enjoy a song I'll download it - so far I've downloaded..

Jon Bellion - All Time Low

easyFun - Monopoly

Anne-Marie - Ciao Adios

Ed Sheeran - Shape Of You

Katy Perry - Chained To The Rhythm

Dave - Samantha

Stormzy - Big For Your Boots

Flo Rida - Cake

Martin Garrix - Scared To Be Lonely

Maroon 5 - Cold

Just Us - Cloudbusting

...just because I really enjoy all those songs and have wanted them to do well on iTunes etc.

However, I'm a fan of physicals too, I'm planning on buying the Ed Sheeran album on physical over the weekend, and I've bought the Take That track on CD single too - I guess when there's something really good on CD, I will buy it, but only if I feel I really need it. I like the novelty of having a CD though, the recent success of Giants has shown us that they're not dead and gone just yet and I like that element of the music industry being around still.

I wouldn't say streaming is my favourite, but it's a convenience thing to have everything at the click of a button.

I still buy physical albums to support artists I'm a fan of (keep up a collection) or if I *really* want the album, but it's not frequent.

I'll only download from iTunes if I need a file copy of the song and can't "obtain" a decent version of it via other means. (or like at Christmas when I used a £10 gift card)

tl;dr physical probably favourite, 18-30.

Over 40 - physical and downloads. Used to buy albums mainly on CD but have switched to vinyl over the last couple of years (if it's an artist I really like I'll buy the CD as well). And where there are bundle deals such as the pre-orders for the new albums from Blondie and Erasure I'll even get the casette.
31-40 stream from Apple Music and buy vinyl for my record player - mainly albums I consider classics!
CDs are my preference. I used to love maxi CD singles but now they are so rare and we are lucky to get a 2 track CD single.
Over 40 and these days I mainly stream music. I rarely download any more - I think I've bought about 10 downloads in the past 12 months and have all but given up buying CDs. I bought the last Now CD but that was simply to play at the family Christmas get together as my mother doesn't have computer access. Other than buying the Now CD I don't think I've bought another CD since 2015.

BTW, how many of you still stream music, even after you've bought/downloaded it?

I hate streaming. I would rather own my own music.

I'm 21 btw. The only time I ever use Spotify is if I can't find a song elsewhere online or I haven't found a download.
