Today's mids have Ed with 9 of the top 10, Radio 1 are going to have to do The Ed Sheeran Show again :drama:

Well actually it wouldn't surprise me if they did a last minute format change and start the top ten later than five, skipping the Ed album tracks aside from those in the top 5 and perhaps 'Supermarket Flowers' as it's climbing.

Anne-Marie has been a real victim because of Ed Sheeran :( I don't think it will go much higher, definetly not Top 10.

Such a shame for new artists.

Position for Lorde please?

35, she deserves so much better.

Thankfully the Steps decline has slowed down. It looks very safe they should remain top 40 on the official chart tomorrow. Wonderful.

Yeah, I'm really annoyed about this, it really deserves a Top 10 peak :(

So much for the Ed domination only lasting a week

It's ok he gonna plummet next week He releasing the other half the album

Abbey Road at 18? Pretty sure that wasn't even in the top 40 in Monday's mids

It wasn't even in the top 100 on Tuesday's update.

It is a special promotion with a free magazine in newsagent shops and selected Tesco stores. Maybe OCC has problems getting data from independent newsagent stores or perhaps the £9.99 price meant it was put in the Budget album chart initially. There would still be full price albums in HMV and downloads from iTunes etc. to complicate matters.

I'm gonna say Steps will be #34 tomorrow then. Way better than I would have expected this time last week, just a shame being #1 on iTunes even for a day these days amounts to so little in the grand scheme of things. :(

She's already got her second-highest chart hit to date with this and that's DESPITE the Ed Sheeran chart takeover, she'd have had a top 20 hit without it. She's doing just fine.

It's sad to think they would be easily top 30 if the Ed Sheeran album tracks weren't there but oh well.

If Ed Sheeran songs weren't all hanging around Steps may have managed top 20 as more focus would have been on other music.
Im both intrigued and saddened to see how far no more sad songs has dropped I know it's out
