Yeah, her days as a huge popstar are most likely over :(. I still blame the long waiting period between 'Prism' and this new album.

She's just had a global top five hit :lol: Yeah she'll never be as big as she was in Teenage Dream era but I don't think anyone expected that! Tbh as long as the music is great I'm good, charts are just numbers to me and the quality is most important.

This is growing on me, completely unexpectedly! Kinda loving this and can see it being pretty big after a few more listens :blush:
Of course her looks matter. They shouldn't but they do. She's a popstar, not a ''real'' musician like Ed Sheeran or Adele. It basically defines how marketable she is.

The problems started with the DISASTROUS campaign of Prism tbh and then the years she spent baking pies at home!

Sorry this song is a bop to me took me 2 listens but i'm loving it but I do think it will be one of those songs that either becomes a big hit or flops hard !

I am also enjoying this a lot more after actually finding myself going back to it. It is still too slow to get going though.

 

Re her looks, she's made all this comments about 2007 Britney which means people are now taking the fun out of her and thinking she's having 'her' Britney moment. I do think there's something MORE going on under the surface, I have been seeing people saying she doesn't want to be 'Katy Perry' anymore.

Tbf given it's pre album it would be easy to brush it off as promo single if it really does that badly, a la American Oxygen by Rihanna for example. I think it's a bit ott to assume that this one flop will kill her career dead :lol:
