this is my first "old" entry, and the act is one of my favorite old discoveries in literally years; the album my entry is from is currently in heavy rotation and i have already fallen deeply in love with it

Reconfirmed as the dance track I had submitted I wasn't fully into. Pretty happy with what I've gone with now and it's hard to describe genre-wise but I suppose it's more electronic/indie than anything else.

I just wish the full single version was the video version as the intro is so much better!

gone with one that has popped into a couple or 3 or so buzzjack charts outside mine. If I've miscounted, I have 2 spares...

Medhelnia should be on that list as well based on the OP!

(I see Mezidinia making a quiet return after over 2 years :hi: nu Palmyra x)

with a good song hopefully

It's my best entry yet. Though looking back at the crud I used to enter, that won't be hard. :P

Thank you (:, Been meaning to for a looooong time and I thought, why not whilst I have 5 weeks left to hand in my dissertation! :)

well there goes the opportunity for Danaelanda to invade the Mezidinian land due to their inactivity :kink:

welcome back tho! interested to see what new direction you're going in!

Hehe, I did notice the possible invasion. Re-awoke just in time!

Ditto, can't wait to discover new music again.

Mines dark, experimental pop with beautifully tenebrous vocals <3

This veto below I think was decided before the country who had sent this had changed their entry as this isn't on the spreadsheet anymore!

Nimmo - Dancing Makes Us Brave 22

03 \\ Artist has previously been entered to the Buzzjack Song Contest

07 \\ Artist has come top 15 in any final

12 \\ Song has received substantial radio, internet, TV, or print media exposure

(Featured on promonews, thefader, thelineofbestfit, diymag, josepvinaixa, bbc, theguardian, popjustice, mtvuk, pressplayok, stereoboard, independent, clashmusic and more)

+ song featured in the personal charts of at least six BJSC participants and spent eight weeks in the Multichart (peaking within the top 40)

Seems last month was just a fluke then for having barely any vetoes, quite a few already this month.

I love that Nimmo song but it would be ridiculous if that got in.

'Dancing Makes Us Brave' is an amazing song but I totally agree with that veto. It just won the PFSC as well so I suspect someone may have tried it due to that :P
Undercover was me lol, that's the veto cherry popped though so I guess that's something. Real talk I'd been going ever so slightly off that song since I confirmed it so this is as good an excuse as any to go with something else I guess!
