Meh, I think this is pretty average.

 

It doesn't have much of a punch despite it being catchy and fun. It also completely wastes the thing that makes her so special and that it is her voice.

this is alright... i mean I did see the live clips on youtube of her performing it so I knew of it a little but there's certainly something missing for me, not her voice which is fab as usual. I think it's the chorus and the production isn't packing much oomph or something and it kinda stops me from fully being totally into it, maybe I;ll grow to it more though. Certainly expected something much more in your face for a 2nd album comeback/try again single. It's catchy and radio friendly tho but yeah it kinda needs something more impactful in the chorus for me.

 

Agreed with Ryan, can't see this getting her a top 10 unfortunetly, probably a peak of #24 or something!

bless her, this is so 5/10, nothing pops, it's like undercooking a m&s pasta ready meal; so much potential but lukewarm and ultimately disappointing ;(

I've actually only really liked 'Comeback' out of her solo singles, the rest are just... :/ (which is a shame, she's got so much talent).

Agreed. It's just a fun pop song! Really don't get the disdain towards it in all honesty! :(

The video has certainly helped it grow actually but its definitely the chorus, it just feels like something 'big' should happen in it and never does, just plods along generically for me :( it's a fun pop song for sure though, just I was expecting a bit more punch to the chorus really!

That's pretty much a perfect summary of this song! I do like the vid but feel it could have been even better.
