well, Paramore's base is pretty supportive and active and they were on hiatus for like 4 years. I don't think Harry will pull a Drake in the US, but this is the first Paramore release on streaming era. And i'm pretty sure they can do +100k pure sales in US, don't now about UK.

I would expect Paramore to come out on top that week, previous Studio album opened with nearly 40k, doubt they will get that many but 30k+ should be achievable and that should be enough.

 

Tbh I can't see Paramore beating Harry Styles as much as I'd like them to (soz Joseph x).

 

Shame they released on a Wednesday afternoon - if they would have put it out on Friday they could have gone top 40 first week I'd've thought. (also wtf at Shawn releasing tomorrow - though I guess he'll reach top 40 easily in his first week regardless :P)

Zayn only sold 22k in week 1, I agree Harry will beat this number but I think we will have to wait and see whether his strategy will pay off and he will be seen more as an Albums Artist.

That was run was pretty incredible for Gaga though; she has spent Sunday morning - Wednesday evening at #1, around 3 and a half days in total. When I saw her there on Sunday I thought she would keep the top spot for about 12-18 hours, so she has exceeded expectations greatly.

 

Hopefully it can keep up the stability when not at the top.
