Taking the biggest trending songs of the week in the Official Midweek Chart, I ask you to rank your favourites to see which songs are trending well with chart fans. This thread is inspired by the recent addition of the 'Buzzjack Hype Chart' and has a similar format, but with songs that have already been released.

 

Let's take a look at this week's biggest trending tracks.

 

Lady Gaga is trending the most this week with standalone single 'The Cure', which becomes her biggest UK chart hit since 'Do What U Want'. Shawn Mendes' return also seems to be well received, with him at number two. Disciples take third place with 'On My Mind' which has been slowly climbing up the top 40 for the past few weeks.

Firstly, let's look at this week's trending chart (compiled by me based on mid data). The rules are that a song is eligible for this chart if they climb to a new chart peak in the midweek chart update and don't currently have a top 10 peak. There is also a limit of two songs per artist to prevent album takeovers in the chart.
