I'm surprised at 'Despacito' pulling so far ahead tbh. 'I'm The One' sounds so much more like a hit single to me (it's also way way way better, at least it got its one week at #1 but I was hoping to see it stay #1 for a while hmm ~)

 

Yay for us coming to get another foreign language #1 anyway even if it's not a particularly good one (and it's half in English anyway) :lol: I really wish non-English songs would get more of a chance in non-English speaking countries.

Nah, you'd do 1.0000 + 0.1483 to get 1.1483 (Luis Fonsi's combined percentage), and then divide 0.7427 by 1.1483 to find the weighted percentage that DJ Khaled is selling of Luis Fonsi (0.6455).

I am just happy to see the original version of despacito still doing well enough on iTunes/streaming. Shows that there are plenty of brits that don't feel they need a track to feature some English to enjoy it.

A mate of mine just joked that 'Despacito' getting to number one could spur Britain First or UKIP into action - "Now our number ones aren't even in English!!!!" - so I am now rooting for it to get to number one on that (slim) possibility

Indeed, quite comfortably my favourite of his! I liked Fast Car but it got old quickly and whilst enjoying the other two, I never totally got into them.

I am really enjoying the new Jonas Blue song and would welcome an official top 5 placing at some point.
