16 Armenia / Their songs are always growers for me, LoveWave last time took a while to hit me and I expect this will be the same. But certainly, once again for Armenia, one of the most interesting songs of the semi, LOVED the staging, the camera work and the ethnic elements. It's just the song as a whole that isn't entirely there but I see its appeal for sure even if it isn't properly hitting me. 7/10

Wow. That staging was incredible. Can't get over how fierce the backing dancers were. Also the song is fab and this is winning the semi easily.

Staging just blew the rest of the semi away on its own. So good

Armenia is winning the semi and coming top 5 in the whole thing, that was f***ing incred.
I am so scared that Slovenia will somehow make it through because you can never count out this dull af type of music.
This Slovenian entry is just rubbish - it tries to be this uplifting soaring ballad but it's just dire!
Slovenia wont make it through, they usually do bad with good songs so them qualifying tonight would be a shock result.
I did love Armenia's staging and enjoy it as a Eurovision performance, on that note, just the songs not for me. Much much better than the horrific "LoveWave" though

So bland and off-key. Please god don't let this qualify :drama:

no.

No doubt Omar is a good singer but the song is so f***ing dated and a cliche. While it's not a bad thing on its own, i can just watch some contest from 10+ years ago if i want thia type of thing. Bye.

17 Slovenia / So... I shouldn't like that but I do, oops. I mean, I am the sole Westlife fan around these days so perhaps not surprising. It's not amazing, don't get me wrong, but it does have a strong hook and he's quite likeable even if it is extremely dated. I prefer it to Poland 2016 in the dated ranks aswell. 7/10
