I wouldn't be surprised if Spotify sales are missing for Saturday and Sunday, I think Katy Perry is too high.

Now that the midweek information is available it appears more believable for Erasure who will likely be lucky to stay top 10. Scouting for Girls is this a re-entry or new album? Also i didn't know The Kooks had a Best of released. This is a potential purchase for me.

Disappointed with the drop to number 27 for Steps, i hope it can recover through the week. The Muse comeback single is also performing disappointingly at 71.

Sales added.

Those album sales are close, I think Raggy could be #2 by Friday

Since when did John Gibbons get so high! :o Has he been selling copies of his single on Tesco checkouts or something?

Featured on iTunes "Hot Songs" on the front page.

Looks like Liam is coming for #3 then, #2 if he's exceptionally lucky.

Glad to see Katy looking like debuting low top 40, even if it could be higher if the bloody top 50 would've updated. Also extremely pleasing to see John Gibbons so close to the top 40 - I assume this'll go one step further than Would I Lie To You? and enter top 40 in the next few weeks. I've been hearing it a lot recently out and about.

Yes, agreed, he will climb to #2, Harry's sales have held up slightly better than I thought and I now think he will take #3.

Paul Weller is holding up well at #6.

I see this week there are more Album new entries with numerical titles, we could potentially have a 25, 40, 50 and 100 in the Top 100, seems a simple, uninspiring choice but one that seems popular.

I'd be happy for the new John Gibbons to become a hit, but I need a vocal version of Sorry for the summer.

Despacito will easily break the 100k barrier. More than 110k probably.

So happy to see Despacito increasing its sales week by week. :w00t:

Yes, it does seem to be shaping up to be the One Dance of 2017, which means everyone's going to start hating it soon

Based on the sales information we now have, i agree with others, Harry Styles will most likely overtake Linkin Park for number 2. I am so surprised by how good those sales are for Erasure, easily 10,000 + on opening week.

Would anyone know the opening sales from the Pet Shop Boys on their last album?

16,953 from April last year for 'Super'.

Btw I think the consensus is that Rag 'N' Bone Man should overtake both to nab #2.

I'm not sure there's any evidence right now that Rag'n'Bone Man will overtake Harry? We don't have a breakdown of the sales but as of last Thursday, Harry was just about ahead of Rag'n'Bone Man on daily sales and he has a streaming advantage. I'm not saying it won't happen but there's nothing yet to suggest it will.
It is true that Harry is still top of the iTunes Album chart and will have the streaming edge but Rag 'N' Bone is the top seller on Amazon and has proved to be a consistent seller throughout the week - I am basing my prediction on fact it has regularly overtaken newer releases on Wed/Thu.
