It is crazy as anything at the moment and probably will get crazier.

James Rodriguez has joined Bayern Munich on a two-year loan deal from Real Madrid ending any speculation about a possible move to Chelsea.

Yes it will only get worse! Lots of teams seem to be taking a step back in the market, I wonder if they are wondering if the crazy prices might drop later in the window.

Good signing for Bayern. Seems like a win-win for them. Wonder if this means the Sanchez deal is off now.. wonder if he might see his contract out at Arsenal.

I don't see why the prices may drop. £50m for Sigurdson might seem crazy but it makes perfect sense. Swansea have a shitload of money, £107m revenue from TV and prize money, add in commercial and matchday income and you must be looking at at least £130m, so they don't need money, so £30m might seem expensive, but it's not even 25% of their income, so there's not really any incentive to sell him, especially when he's their best player. Add in the fact that they know everyone else has a shitload of money and that he's homegrown, it only really starts to make sense at £50m+. Relegation from the Premier League would cost them more than £50m, and they're much more likely to go down without him. Yeah they'd have money to spend but what's £50m going to get them?

Ha, Dani Alves set to join PSG instead of Man City it appears.

I expect more big money transfers until 31st August. I was more shocked that a £40m move for Siguardsson was rejected by Swansea at the time but now it is probably going to the norm where club transfer records will be broken.

While I agree, it is also massively inflated. Unless players start pushing the moves through, I think teams will start holding out to test resolve. Totally agree he is their best player though, I would not even consider selling if I was Swansea.

Seems to have gone quiet on the Kyle Walker front as well.

Arsenal are apparently interested in Monaco player Thomas Lemar.

I'm not surprised that Adnan Januzaj is leaving Man United. I think he will be better off elsewhere as it must have been unsettling for him to be loaned out every season. It reminds me of when Victor Moses used to get loaned out every season by Chelsea before Antonio Conte took over.

Swansea have rejected a £40m bid from Everton for Siguardsson. Looking at £50m for him, I think. If there is going to be a deal.

Getting £8.9m rising to £11m for Januzaj is a true sign of how utterly ridiculous this market is. He looked utterly shite at Sunderland. If you look like the worst player in the worst team in the PL we should have been paying people to take the arrogant lazy arse.

Someone call the Spanish police coz Real Sociadad got robbed

Kyle Walker looks set to move to Man City for £50m after Tottenham accepted an offer.

Seems foolish are willing to strengthen their rivals, but think £50m is a great deal for them. It's clear he had his head turned. I'll be interested to see how he fits in to a City side that is not set up to be super compact. No doubt he has improved massively in the past 18 months.

Watford have signed Chalobah from Chelsea for about £5m.

Looking likely that Joe Hart will move to West Ham on a season-long loan with an option of an permanent deal.

It's quite strange that Nathaniel Chalobah has left Chelsea. He is on the front of this poster below which advertises Chelsea's kit for the 2017/18 season, I've seen this poster almost everywhere I've gone within the past 2 weeks and it is on the front of every Sports Direct shop that I've walked past. It was obviously a waste of time for him to be wearing Chelsea's new shirt when he isn't even going to play for them.

West Ham have withdrawn their interest in Oliver Giroud. They still looking to get Hernandez although been delayed by wage demands from Hernandez.

Wasn't Kyle Walker the player Sheff United forced Spurs to take as part of the Kyle Naughton deal in 2009 lol and now look.....

Nolito joined Sevilla from Man City for about £8m.

Lucas Levia is set to complete a move to Lazio from Liverpool for £5m

Joe Hart is set to have a medical at West Ham ahead of a season-long loan.

Strong rumours from the Italian press of Morata moving to AC Milan from Real Madrid and not Chelsea.

I know that prices are ridiculous right now, but I really do think £50m for Kyle Walker is silly money. I'd be annoyed if Liverpool spent that kind of money on him especially when you consider his goal return was nil last season. I personally don't think Tottenham will be any weaker having Trippier at RB either.

Yeah that's an outstanding bit of business from Spurs really. Walker wanted out anyway & Trippier is a more than competent replacement who was flinging in plenty of assists at the back of last season as well.

So City have potentially solved part of their defensive issues but if (I mean when) Kompany gets injured again are they still relying on Stones & Otamendi???
