Few agreed between Everton and United it has been formally announced this morning. £75m headline fee plus £15m in add ons and Wayne Rooney.

Conning someone into taking Rooney is priceless tbh

The Lukaku deals sounds dodgy as anything. Raiola is making a killing off the transfer again.

Everton taking Rooney back is a vanity signing. But free transfer and United paying a proportion of his wages by all accounts I've read so far. He'd easily command a £25m fee in this market, just nobody can match his wages.

£12m apparently! Not as much as he made off the Pogba Transfer mind. (I really need to become a football agent)

Last I heard Rooney was taking a pay cut to rejoin as United weren't part paying wages but would wave transfer fee so Everton could afford him. Tbh if they've got an ounce of commercial sense they'll earn his wages in commercial agreements

Got way too much stick. It's the right time for him to go but he'll forever be a club legend in my book and his scoring record will never ever be beaten (mark my words there is ZERO loyalty in the game now so no player will be able to come close).

Delighted about Lukaku though. One of the best strikers in the world & proven in the Premiership. And the price tag is irrelevant, we have to pay ridiculous amounts because of who we are.

He peaked years ago. He should have been let go at the end of Fergies reign. Since then he's been slow, bloated and a hindrance. Worth no where near the outrageous sums we paid him and let's not forget that he once threatened to join the blue scum to get more money. Yes he has loyalty but it's to money first

United have officially conned Everton into taking a second bit of deadwood. Ding dong Shrek has gone

Well Everton are Man Utd's feeder club.. and all Man Utd players go to Everton to retire! Not sure Everton have been conned, by most accounts it seems Man Utd have taken a heavy loss. Sure he is finished at the top level, but I suspect he will still score 10 goals next year (most of them being penalties mind).

😂 doesn't take long for United fans to turn on their greatest goal scorer!
It'll be interesting to see how Lukaku does at a top club now as he scores goals but tends to struggle against the top teams who generally know how to play him but he has space to improve and better players around him!

He's a goalscorer, he'll score goals. His problem really is that he is not much of a workhorse, especially when things are going badly. Will be interesting to see if the coaching staff can improve that side of his game. He's no Drogba that's for sure.

Still a good signing for them. As a Liverpool fan, I would much rather they buy Lukaku than Grizemann!

I 'turned on him' years ago. Been praying we'd sell him every transfer window since Moyes left, seeing as Moyes f***ed up the sale by extending his contract and giving him more money than he was ever worth :')

Rooney's best years are obviously behind him, but he's still a good player when played in his ACTUAL position...
Antonio Rudgier's move to Chelsea looks very likely for £34m from Roma.

Rudiger has signed for Chelsea for £29m from Roma as expected.

Good signing, but definitely a worry for me about his injury history. At least if Van Dijk moves now, there's only one place here's going (hopefully).

In today's transfer market, clubs will have to pay ridiculous amounts for players.

Wolves have spent..... £15.8 million on Ruben Neves. I think that's a record for a Championship club.

I will kind of miss Wayne Rooney and will always remember him fondly, he is a legend of Manchester United and despite some of the things he's done in the past such as handing in transfer requests in order to get a new better paid contract I will always have warm memories of his time at the club.

Signed, sealed, delivered & announced. Lukaku is red.

In unrelated news. Matic is no longer Manchester bound.

Swansea rejecting a £40m bid from Leicester City for Siguardsson yesterday. Said to be looking for £50m.
