Green Light still knocking about here is lovely to see. Lorde's talking voice is way different than I expected :o since I watched the big weekend & she was decent live. Liability has grown on me loads too.

I didn't really enjoy the video either, I found it almost as cringeworthy as the lyrics (which are seriously cringeworthy, don't you agree?!) Personally I think it's best this song is swept under the rug and everyone just moves on to Swish Swish :lol:

Maybe the overall reaction to Bon Appetit is wrong :kink: But really it's been #1 on a few other charts too and seems relatively well received here compared to the outside world!

Tbh this SHOULD be Halsey's hit, I have no idea why Radio 1 and elsewhere aren't giving it more of a push. Doing quite well in the States anyway! But I'm just starting to get into her too, I thought 'New Americana' in particular was awful :lol:

1. Yeah I'm surprised it's #1 too tbh :lol: Basically I love the production sooooo much that I couldn't get enough of the song - the lyrics did make me cringe at first and I'm in no hurry to watch the video again :lol:

2. Ah well, personally I think the song lives up to its name!!

14. It's such a good song but I'm not always in the mood to listen because it's quite repetitive. I doubt I'll bother with the album but looking forward to the follow-up singles!

39. After hearing this again over the weekend I wholeheartedly agree with you! It sounds like an improved CBTO to me, its only downside is that they sound too similar apart from Nicki's feature (which is one of my fave verses of hers too!). And yeah it fell short of the Hot 100 here.

40. I'm not quite there yet - it's still growing but I still prefer Perfect Illusion. I'm impressed this has made my chart at all!

Hey!! Yes Lorde is a contender for year-end #1 and rightfully so! She should have top 10 on lock anyway.

Million Reasons hit me VERY late, yes (as did Marian Hill). I loved her Super Bowl performance but never went back to the song for whatever reason, and with some lingering airplay here it finally clicked.
