whats surprising about 5AM being added? Just meant their label paid the payola $$$$ which is not a bad thing, think it's more effective to pay to be included in the key playlists than airplay or videos... look at Lorde, 2 songs in the hot hits, always super high in the new music Friday playlist, thats how all labels should think

5AM appearing on the same day as what is obviously Simon Cowell's favourite song of the last couple of years. It's almost as if he slipped Spotify a bit of extra cash to get Rise Up on the playlist at the same time :lol:

 

I think payola completely stinks but if it must exist - and it obviously does however much Spotify would try to deny it, then I agree with Bjork - labels might as well splash the cash to get onto Hot Hits UK as it seems to be the most effective way to get your song in front of the masses these days, and certainly the most effective way to give it a leg up in the charts.

It's not an album, just an E.P with 5 songs including 'Something Just Like This' and 'Hypnotised'.

A 5 song E.P where 3 of the songs have already been released (SJLT, Hypnotised, & AICTAIY) and another one is a remix of Miracles from A Head Full Of Dreams :lol: It's gonna get to release date and there will only be one song left to be released :P

The Chainsmokers did a similar thing with their Collage EP, four singles pre-release and the EP has five tracks.

Release is expected 14th July (according to iTunes), in fairness it is coming up as only £3.00 Pre-Order price for me (as I bought AICTAIY) and you get different mixes of SJLT and Hypnotised.

It is true though there will only be one new song left to be Released!
