Not much of a surprise yesterday to hear that Everton have sacked Ronald Koeman.

Who do you think Everton will get to replace him?

I'm kinda hoping that Dyche doesn't take the Everton job. Can't see him leaving Burnley.

Alan Pardew might get it, or he could go for the Leicester job instead if it gets offered to him.

Claude Puel looking set according to Sky Sports to become the new Leicester City manager.

I think that's a sensible appointment. Not gonna be flashy football there but a solid midtable finish I'd expect. Let's not forget he guided Saints to best of the rest & a cup final last season. I hope they still go down tho...
Not sure he will be popular amongst the dressing room especially since Vardy and co seem to hold a strange authority in the dressing room!

It feels good to be back to winning ways in the league after the past two matches, hopefully this can be the start of a winning run of matches for us! Henrikh Mkhitaryan's form has dipped since the match against Palace and he gave the ball away quite a lot today but he'll definitely be back to his usual self soon.

Lucky to get the 3 points today, but Spurs pulled a Spurs. Fantastic win, but still cannot see anything other than 2nd place at best for Man Utd. Set up again for the big games was not right, got lucky this time.

I would be concerned at the goals city conceded too! Job done for Jose - once again brutal to watch!

Thank god Liverpool started Sturridge!

Sturridge took his goal well, but he cannot play in a Klopp side, he is too slow. Shame really, but he's lost his acceleration that made him so lethal. Big thing for me today with Liverpool is Klopp tweaked the system and we looked so much better. Clear as day while we need a better centre back, our problem lies with the midfield rather than the defence.

Anything can happen, there's still so many games for all of the teams to play and Man City will not be invincible like how Arsenal were in the 2003/04 season. They will lose at least a few matches this season. The media are still very much in love with them though, instead of showing Crystal Palace vs West Ham first on Match Of The Day - a game which was more entertaining, they showed Man City's match first as they always do.

Charlie Adam's open goal miss against Watford was hilarious , Troy Deeney will probably get some retrospective action taken against him for putting his hands on Joe Allen's face.

While I agree Man City won't go undefeated all season, they're in a superb run of form and it shows no signs of slowing down. Long season ahead of course and December/January will be the crucial months, but Man City certainly have the squad for it.

Next weekend is a biggie - Chelsea vs Man Utd and Man City vs Arsenal - at least two teams will drop points!

Yesterday was somewhat frustrating. Gave the ball away too easily, far too many incomplete or aimless passing. You could feel the frustration at times inside the stadium as well. I'd have hooked Lukaku rather than Rashford personally.

I think they showed City because they are top of the league at the moment tbh. The media love them because they play progressive football which is fair enough.

To be fair their match did have the highest amount of goals yesterday so it did warrant first billing on MOTD once again.

But yes their defence has shown its weakness plain & clear with 2 hilariously poor goals to concede. Obviously next week won't be a challenge as Arsenal will most likely just self-implode but I sense some possible struggles ahead for them in future matches.

Not that we'll be catching up just yet with a 0-0 the absolute maximum we'll be allowed to play for next week...

I'm hoping that Arsenal will win against Man City but I don't expect them to get anything in that match. We'll probably park the bus against Chelsea but if that leads to another 1-0 win then I'll be happy with that.

Leicester are up to their usual tricks of turning into the 2015/16 version of themselves straight after their manager gets sacked :drama:, it would take a brave person to take that job with those snakey set of players in the dressing room.

The thing is with City is they are scoring goals for fun - well on track to pass 100 goals scored, they have a good defensive record and they are easy on the eye too. They look a lot stronger than last year. Saying that, I think an injury to De Bryne or Silva and they may struggle to pick teams off as easily.
