June 23, 20179 yr WTF is Foo Fighters doing there... 50 year-old men singing songs that no one under 25 year-old doesn't care about. I mean they could as well playlist Nickelback or Hanson Radio 1 are always massive on Foos.

June 23, 20179 yr Honestly, if it makes its way up to the A-List and with a bit of promo I think Matrix&Futurebound/Calum Scott can become a big summer hit. I'd be a shame if it didn't, given the fact Calum Scott managed to do so well with the dirge that is his Dancing On My Own cover.
June 23, 20179 yr Never noticed until now Icarus - King Kong was daytime playlisted! Excellent, and with Instruction and maybe Real Life coming soon to the playlist, there will be a few good uplifting vibrant dance songs during the daytime on radio 1 which we have been missing for a while amidst the tide of chilled future bass and tropical house!
June 24, 20179 yr still don't understand why though, their target audience clearly love the song, but Radio 1 have always had a thing against foreign language hits (was Gangnam Style A-listed?) so can't say I'm all that surprised.Gangnam Style was A-listed! Can't think of any others since then though.
