Wow, I vaguely remember listening to this one live at the time. So many great debuts that week with S Club 7, Shania, Britney, Tom Jones and The Cardigans, Kelle Bryan and more!

Ha, I forgot about the Sunday Surgery that used to be on after the chart! I used to listen to that before going to bed, feeling very grown up as I was only 12!

Just found this chart from October 2000 that was uploaded a couple of days ago! *.* that will take me nicely through this afternoon at work.

15 minutes in and 'Groovejet (If This Ain't Love)' is already an enormous highlight

What I miss from those days is the variety, there was literally something for everybody it seems. Indie, rock, pop, europop, R&B, garage, house, trance, rap, just pick your fav.

The music is also much better. I know its nostalgia for my teen years, but I dont care. I'll keep my bias.

We've been blessed with another 1999 chart! 26th September '99 uploaded yesterday.

Currently up to 'Drinking In L.A.'

Great rediscovery, cheers!

Just found a July 2001 chart from the week after my favourite song ever 'Another Chance' by Roger Sanchez entered at #1  so excited to listen to a chart from this year as I was too young to remember much at the time, was the summer before I started school!

Edit: yesssss half an hour in and there's some Basement Jaxx

Thanks for sharing these chart shows, JadeGagaOlly! :kink:

That 2001 chart is great. Castles In The Sky, Perfect Gentleman and Another Chance are my favourites

Omg I'm going to listen to this immediately. 2013

Edit: As it turns out that user has posted several early 2010s chart shows, excellent!

I may as well use the opportunity to post this again then - I put together a best bits compilation of the final Jameela Jamil chart show at the time. Sadly had no idea how to record the whole thing so that's all I've got, but it's a good 27 minutes.

The full show is here!

Working from home starts tomorrow for me so posting that user's link was a godsend, so many charts to dive through in the background to keep me sane *.*

Currently listening to this one and 'Boomerang' being mentioned as the mid-week #1 really threw me off but of course it was  :')

There's not enough on there from 1994 I notice :( , a pity as I do like that year for chart music particularly. And there doesn't seem to be much on there for much of the 00s apart from 2000 :(

I like the Tommy Vance ones, he occasionally talks about the background of the song and interesting facts about them unlike most of the other presenters which is interesting.

Oh and here's the one with my BJSC 111 entry in it ('Talk Talk')! :D A new entry for a big hit for Madness as well and a good top 10 too higher up with some well known classics in it.

Thanks for posting this one, listened today, some wonderful classics in that chart from Duran Duran, Dionne Warwick, Marvin Gaye, Lionel Richie, Flock Of Seaguls, Hall & Oates, Tears for Fears, Human League & Wham!

Don't think i will get over Renee & Renato beating 'Mirror Man to No1!
