June 29, 20178 yr I'm gonna back Federer for an 8th Wimbledon title in the mens & Pliskova in the womens.

June 30, 20178 yr I'd quite like to see Johanna Konta go on a good run this year, although hopefully the injury she picked up as Eastbourne doesn't affect her chances too much.
June 30, 20178 yr I'm gonna back Federer for an 8th Wimbledon title in the mens & Pliskova in the womens. I'm going for Murray to hold his title. He hasn't played well recently but this is on grass and he's the holder and he'll be hard to beat I think. He'd play Nadal in the semis as 1 plays 4 and 2 plays 3 if it goes to form. Edited June 30, 20178 yr by common sense
July 1, 20178 yr I think Andy Murray might retain the title. Roger Federer must be in decline now surely?
July 1, 20178 yr I thought that when he lost the Wimbledon final in 2015 that would be his last big shot at a Slam but he simply hasn't gone anywhere since & the fact he won his first Slam in over 4 years in Oz this year, plus this being his favoured surface historically, leads me to believe he has the edge!
July 1, 20178 yr I think Andy Murray might retain the title. Roger Federer must be in decline now surely? I'm a big Murray fan, but I can't see him winning Wimbledon. Lack of form/ practice on grass, and a very competitive draw this year. Fed fave for me.
July 1, 20178 yr Author Looking to see Konta get to the second week of Wimbledon providing that injury scare hasn't affected her.
July 3, 20178 yr Author And the mass British exodus from the first round bar Murray & Konta begins with Laura Robson losing in straight sets.
July 3, 20178 yr Well now I understand why Wawrinka was 33-1. Quickest way I've ever thrown away a fiver!
July 3, 20178 yr And the mass British exodus from the first round bar Murray & Konta begins with Laura Robson losing in straight sets. Watson and Bedene are through though! Not all bad.
July 3, 20178 yr The one time I can contribute to the Sports forum :kink: I'm not expecting Murray to retain the title, I'd be very pleasantly surprised if he did. My tip is probably Federer to win this year. Saturday could be quite a match if Djokovic vs. Del Potro happens!
