Excited for this, but is Conor Maynard gonna become the next Karen Harding of dance tracks?

Vocally he's the UK's answer to Justin Bieber which is why so many producers want to work with him.

But his likeness to Karen Harding is that he's not much of chart contender anymore. :(

I liked their collaboration with ROZES recently. :)

I enjoyed that collab, it had a lot more to the drop than most future bass songs, and was disappointed that it never done anything chart wise.

Hope this is similar to Broken Drum and Millionaire!

Broken Drum is one of their best imo

He's Bieber but better and no one wants to make the effort to recognize it

Their best single by MILES.

Only other one that comes close is Aftershock.

But I am interested to hear this new one!

NO at that generic tropical drop which really doesn't go imo with the brilliant atmospheric verses and buildup :(

My favourite ever of theirs was Broken Drum (ft Fitz and the Tantrums). Starts off tropical house then goes to bassline house in the buildup then funky house for the chorus, then progressive house for the second verse, four house subgenres in one song! Great song and vocal too!

The prechorus reminds me a bit of Don't You Worry Child, but that drop... :S it just seems to come out of nowhere and just doesn't fit in :(
I think it only feels like that due to the slower BPM, so there's a more obvious contrast of subgenres. If it were faster then it would have worked.
  • 3 months later...

The drop just doesn't go with the song sadly :(

Still want Cash Cash to get another hit as they are one of only a few American dance acts that could still get a hit.
