It's looking like Trinity K Bonet was a back up queen who was not picked.

 

She has been campaigning on Instagram for weeks claiming "TKB4AllStars3" but her most recent pictures are captioned "Well...at least I tried" followed by a quote claiming "choose me or lose me, I won't be anyone's second choice".

 

Maybe I'm reading too much into it and I hope I am wrong as I would love to see lip sync assassin back.

This whole thing around AS3 to me really feels very "oh, we've just had a hit All Stars, we must rush another one out quick". The cast isn't wow'ing me at all and I personally think they'd be better off just sticking to the Olympics-type scheduling where we're more likely to get Shea's and Trinity's who have had years to grow.

Or they could do a different type of spin-off such as a UK one or a proper rudemption season with just early eliminated queens.

Seeing as Manila won't be on, the only person who made the final in the rumoured line up would be Pearl (and there really isn't much supporting the idea she is on).

 

Surely a cast of Trixie Mattel, Aja, Shangela, Morgan McMichaels, BenDeLaCreme, Ongina, Kennedy Davenport, Chi Chi De'Vayne, Milk (and then possibly people like Trinity K Bonet, Valentina, Nina Bo'Nina Brown, Thorgy Thor or Acid Betty) could get away with saying it is a RuDemption series, with none of them being former finalists?

We're never going to get an AS1 cast again with names like Alaska, Adore, Katya and Detox now used up, but there's still huge amounts of talent and exciting contestants left.

 

We have 100+ of queens to choose from, so I really don't think it's too early for AS3. Oh, at all.

 

Yeah I quite like the idea, a lot of these names were robbed or never really got to show their full potential and you can see they've blossomed since, so I'm here for seeing them again. And with AS2 Alaska was always going to win, this will be much more of a fight I feel.

Looking like Thorgy Thor is also likely to have been added to the cast as she has just cancelled gigs around the time of filming. Happy enough with that as I did like her (although I did find her a tad grating by the end of her stint).

I'd put pretty strong money on Shangela winning out of that lineup (and just think of that storyline, from hot mess first elimination to the drag race hall of fame) But it'd still probably be a lot less like a victory lap than the first 2 All Stars runs.

Yeah, I predict a Shangela, Trixie and BenDeLaCreme final 3 (maybe Chi Chi as outside chance instead?) with Shangela ultimately taking it.

Yep definitely Trixie vs Shangela imo. It was amazing how much Shangela come along from series 2 to series 3, so to add in the extra few years between 3 and AS3 will be great to see on screen. Trixie just has it all too. Chi Chi I agree with as well, she felt like one of those that was SO nearly there so I'm sure with the extra experience i the past couple of years she'll be one to watch too.

It's nowhere near the quality of the last season. It needed 1 or 2 big queens like Valentina and Kim Chi and I'd much rather have 12 than 10.

That lineup is massively disappointing...

Juuuuuust a quick reminder that Darienne outlasted Dela.. and if we're being honest beat her in two lipsyncs! (I prefer Dela, but IJS... I'm just saying.. I think Darienne is crazy funny. If her runways have improved she could be a force)

She left the episode after Dela, hardly outlasting her by much. She was also in the bottom 4(?) times while Dela was in it twice.
