According to the brand new TV magazines that came out today that is what happened, although from memory it doesn't seem possible that events actually happened as how they've been written just now. So it feels like they are rewriting history but all will be revealed properly in upcoming episodes.

As far as I can remember we actually saw him get killed lmao wtf. Unless Phil paid them or sth which is the same thing really. But why now, it makes no sense and feels like anything plucked out of a hat to give Phil something to come back to.

I hope they're not rewriting things... It was all aired that Terry Bates and his hitmen carried out Jase's murder and I don't remember Phil being involved at all? :unsure: He didnt have any issue with Jase if I recall correctly?

I wonder if they will do a flashback episode to show what truly happened on the night that Jase died? it would be the only way that any sense can possibly be made out of it. Although all of the actors involved must have aged quite a bit since 2008 and Jay in particular is noticeably older than he was back then. It wasn't even Phil that was involved with Jase at all was he?. It was Terry Bates, Bird and his gang from what I can remember.
