Would like to see Haim get another #1 though i'm not convinced, the debut had more hype/hits behind it

I figure JAY-Z would be big enough to knock Ed off the top though, a lack of spotify streams would be the only thing holding it back, guess we'll see~

Ed Sheeran for #1 in the album chart by tomorrow. :(
Another week for Ed then - and it now falls to Lana or Arcade Fire to prevent him staying number 1 over the entire Summer Holiday.

Everybody forgot Public Service Broadcasting, their last album did pretty well, I just hope the album stays ahead of JAY Z

A lot of the big hits hit by ACR are climbing today but it wouldn't surprise me to see them sink again by Friday actually!

Garrix & Troye up 1 from last Monday's midweeks, hopefully that'll help them sneak top 40 on Friday :D

Katy Perry's Album 'Witness' back to full price has resulted in a drop to 46, not looking good for longevity unless another Single can salvage it.

Why is "Slide" randomly climbing up?

It probably had a sales increase

Is there any reason so many albums are dropping hard this week? Katy, Steps and even Adele is down from 19 to 38!

Katy can partially be explained by a price increase from some outlets from £4.99 to £9.99.

Adele came to the end of her Tour with a crashing halt, not sure about Steps but there has been a lot of big concerts this week that has resulted in boosts for the likes of The Killers, Elbow, U2, The Weeknd, Kings Of Leon etc I'm sure the effect is to knock down some Albums of Artists where they haven't been performing.

Great to see HAIM at #1, even if it won't be tomorrow. Yet another week for Ed, ughhh.

Hoping they can stick to #2 though, such a good record.

Really good to see Camila continuing to climb in the singles, so glad this has been a hit for her.

Sales added to the top 5, that's all we have. The sales for #3 is an error on MW site

JAY Z's album was #102 last week

This is the thing with the ACR, all these long runners will have one bizarre looking big drop halfway through their chart run and then just carry on declining slowly as before, just slightly lower down the chart  It will speed the chart up a bit by respect of the fact that we might get rid of them out of the top 40 3 or 4 weeks earlier but it's not as if they're going to suddenly keep plummeting after their artificial drop. Hence all the rebounds this week...

Well theoretically, once they've had that drop to 300:1 and providing they don't have a sales increase (of 50% is it??) then they should actually fall down at a swifter rate than they do, being replaced by newer songs at the 150:1 ratio. However they won't be in freefall as the 'drop week' might suggest.

Ed Sheeran will be safely number 1 by the end of the week by a few thousand i would think.

Wonderful to see the Killers having 2 placements in the top 40 albums, i hope they hold the positions.

Disappointed with the big drop for Steps Tears on the Dancefloor this week, with some luck it will stay in the top 100.
