Oh dear, I thought this was a thread about her new album and not a place to tear her down for her appearence.

 

Anyway, she's been posting snippets of the album and it sounds alot more upbeat than Resurrection, some classic Ana ballads though too.

This might sound dumb but is this getting a physical release? Amazon only seem to have to MP3 version up for pre-order...

There is a physical CD but who knows about the UK, what with the issues with the single and video coming here....

The single wasn't out for a good two days here because of issues and the video was blocked for about a day too.

What a terrific album, it's a perfect combo of Freak of Nature and Anastacia.

I think the only way to get one in the UK is to import or go through pledge (which is signed but wont dispatch till mid October)

Yeah. It's not on HMV's system and we didn't receive it today, so I doubt we're getting a physical release atm.

That's a MASSIVE f***-up really. I mean, her last studio album went top 10 as did the GH so you'd think it would be worth their while to actually release a physical?

I am a bit bummed by the lack of a physical. I downloaded it last night but I haven't listened yet, will do so later today.

So I kind of love this. It's great to have a fairly upbeat album for her. Resurrection, though awesome, was lacking in that department.

This feels like the album Heavy Rotation wanted to be. It explores the other aspects of Sprock without moving too far from the sound she became popular for.

eBay are selling the physical for £14.50 so less expensive than Amazon! It's also available on Amazon Germany.

Although I lvoe them all, Boomerang is borderline filler but th chorus saves it.

I've decided that my order is:

 

1 Anastacia (she ain't ever topping this)

2 Evolution (it feels like classic and new Ana in one. Just missing a Stupid Little Things)

3 Resurrection (amazing but a little ballad heavy)

4 Freak of Nature

5 Not That Kind

6 Heavy Rotation (her technical weakest but I still love it)

7 It's A Man's World (actually really good but I'm not really into covers albums)

Just got around to streaming this and it's such a good solid album - the kind of album that could have clicked with the general public and given her a sizeable hit album with promotion.

 

The way it's been handled is such a mess though, the UK is one of her biggest markets and they have allowed it to pass by unnoticed. There is a clearly a market for her here with all of her albums going Top 20 so far.
