'Secret Love Song' (feat. Jason Derulo)

 

 

Next one to go it the power pop ballad, 'Secret Love Song'. It's the sort of pure pop ballad that we don't get too much of nowadays and I think that played a part in it's huge success tbh. It's the greatest power ballad since 'Love Me Like You Do' at least, but the greatest girl band ballad since 'Viva Forever' (soz 'My Heart Takes Over' :cry: </3) The video is extremely disappointing (although still beautifully shot) and it lent itself to becoming a huge LGBTQ community fave had they gone down the rumoured original route! It's probably 3rd in my singles ranking, so I'm sad to see it go, but I understand how difficult voting is now. It sounds especially good with the volume as high as it can go! :wub:

 

But this is the only one I'm letting slide! :angry: DON'T YOU START WITH 'NO MORE SAD SONGS' OR 'SALUTE' NEXT YOU LITTLE BITCH!!!!!!!!!

I don't get people going for Black Magic before Shout Out! Shout out is a less good version of Black Magic!

I fell like 'Shout Out..' is the more mature version of 'Black Magic'!

 

But I think SO is my next choice after BM so I'm not too bothered either way haha.
