I always like to have the last word in an debate unfortunately (as you all saw with the Arcadian brothel debate), need to snap out of that habit! I shall stop debating on this thread about the Darius forum for a while.

I genuinely cannot believe there's even need for argument as to whether there should be a Darius forum or not. Whether he's in a popular musical or not, I still have absolutely no idea who he is and I'm sure everyone else on this site that's my age is the same :')

I thought Buzzjack was more mature but there's just a thin line between the resentment here and the bullying on CC.

 

 

I've only been back a couple of days and frankly I'm tired already of the overdrive to push me and my fellow Darius fans out.

There's no bullying/resentment going on here and no-one is being driven away. The forum is still there for now so appreciate it and make the most of it. If and only if the AF is changed then there'll be a place in the pop forum or even retro forum for Darius discussion so it is not the crisis you are making it out to be.

This is no witch hunt, the forum hasn't been closed. Now please let's move past this.

A question...are only a set number of artist forums allowed so an existing artist forum always has to be got rid of if a new artist forum gets approval? :unsure:

No. We used to have over 40 artist forums. It wasn't sustainable because many weren't being used enough. At the moment all the mods can do is replace rather than make new ones and it's worth updating dead forums rather than desperately trying to cling on.

None of the current ones I would describe as dead so they should all stay in my opinion unless they dwindle in posts and become dead. If Daddy Yankee gets his forum it should be added rather than replaced with anything I think.

I think, I do now know how to make new forums. However I far prefer replacing if possible as it means we keep to a set number, there were many that didn't deserve forums and having 40 artist forums is not a situation we want to be in again.

Kind of suspected it a tiny bit but wasn't sure as Daddy Yankee is one of the biggest stars of Latin music ever so I did think it might have been a genuine request.

 

A Latin music forum has been suggested before as a genre forum though which would include Daddy Yankee discussion of course. I am actually starting to think it would be a good idea to have one with the recent Latin music revival. Although the problem is it might impact on the pop and urban forums.

What about a genre forum dedicated to all songs that are not in the English language to ensure they get recognition here.

It's good idea too, but...

 

Local star can have a songs on English language and don't have any connections with Eurovision forum too.

I prefer to see these songs in new forum instead Pop or Rock, where they will die after many discussion posts in threads, related to worldwide superstars.

If a topic can't get any posts while being in the pop forum where the vast majority view, then there's no hope in a smaller area people likely wont visit :lol:

Forum for music in the Welsh language tbh. It's not recognised on here, such is the discrimination of this website.

Taylor and Dua good choices. Ariana not so sure - it's quite inactive already.

Ariana doesn't have any music out at the moment, I think we should reserve judgement on her activity until she's back.
