September 5, 20177 yr Thanks Gezza - great to read this! Would you be up for doing one for acts who've gone solo from mixed groups? Not surprised at all to see Cheryl at the top of the pile. Even though great albums from her are few and far between, she does always know how to put out a great single. 'Fight For This Love' will be one of those iconic pop moments that gets talked about and remembered for years. I genuinely loved Ronan's version of 'When You Say Nothing at All', helps that it's on the soundtrack of one of my favourite films. That and 'Life is a Rollercoaster' were as good as he got for me mind.
September 5, 20177 yr Cheryl Cole certainly not worthy of being no1. Far better songs in the list from more credible acts.
September 5, 20177 yr No harry styles? I get Louis didn't qualify both his first 2 songs have features but no harry ?
September 5, 20177 yr Good #1. Definitely the best song I've heard from Cheryl and it's also easily better than anything by Girls Aloud.
September 5, 20177 yr Author No harry styles? I get Louis didn't qualify both his first 2 songs have features but no harry ? The answer to that lies in the OP :D
September 5, 20177 yr A worthy winner in Fight For Your Love, it's still a cracking pop song years later.
September 6, 20177 yr I always thought Pillowtalk had shifted over a million units? Maybe I had imagined it haha. Not surprised to see Cheryl at the top. I wonder how some of the older songs would have sold if single sales had been what they are now/the last few years. Thanks for putting this together Gezza :)
