21st Unconditionally = 9 Votes

Welcome to Round 5 of Least Fave Katy Perry Single, and well I must say that what a surprise that last round turned out to be, where 'Starstrukk' looked set to finally bow out, then all of a sudden 'Unconditionally' really started to pick up the votes and has now edged out in front with 9 and therefore becoming the 5th song to be voted out and finishing just outside the top 20 at 21st place. Also meaning that we lose 2 in a row from the 'Prism' era, leaving 3 left in the running.
I know that 'Unconditionally' has very mixed opinions on it best, but personally I really don't mind it and found it a pretty good choice single wise from the album, but it may seem as a bit of a disappointment to many when comparing it to the mammoth lead single, but at least it doesn't tread on the same path, instead showing us another side to her, a side which is full of love and warmth, and while Katy may not be known for her ballads, here she really pulls it off well especially on the chorus where she really belts it out without sounding strained, which works well within' her range on this feel good song. Coming so soon after 'Roar' which was still generating all the hype, this sadly didn't stand much of a chance and got lost amongst the shuffle and then when 'DH' started getting early play, all chances for this basically went out the window, which is a shame as this is a really decent love song with some of her best vocal performances of her career so far.

As for the other results 'Starstrukk' had the 2nd highest amount of votes with 8 and came really close to going, will it last this time who knows. 'BA' again gets 5 votes and 'POM' again gets 3 votes. While 'IWEMA' & 'SS' gets 2 votes each. Then finally 'IKAG', 'WA', & 'Birthday' gets 1 vote each.

Right then we have our top 20 Katy Perry singles, same rules apply just vote for your least fave by the next round which will be on Tuesday 22nd August.

NO NO NO wtf :/ I didn't even know that was at risk of being the next one out... :cry: ok so she stretches sylables a bit much in the song but her vocals are stunning throughout :wub:
