August 28, 20177 yr Yup I was avoiding Wednesday on purpose - if there's something going on that will stop a ton of people being able to show up on Tuesday or Thursday I can just move them later in the week but Tues/Thurs seem to usually work fine enough.

August 28, 20177 yr Well I've heard of Sheena Easton and Amelia Lily anyway. And I know Eva Simons from listening to the winning songs. I've already clicked on Get The Balance Right to see if it's the Depeche Mode song,and it is! GTBR was very ahead of its time and has that house sort of rhythm in the verses! Yas at Clare Maguire being entered. Loved Last Dance from her and I am hoping this one entered is as good! Hopefully Fashion Killa which I haven't heard, I will like more than Mason's most famous track Perfect (Exceeder) which is not one of my faves. I am sure I will like it more with Stefflon Don in it who was good in Instruction imo.

August 28, 20177 yr I swear 80% of the time I happen to be in semi 2 so at first it didn't even register to my eyes that I was in semi 1, scrolled right down to semi 2... B-) Among others, I know Blondage (Rangleklods, which they used to be called, have a song I really like) but not this song! DJDS was also amazing with 'In the Flames' which was my 18 that contest (and surely it has to be in my top 10 favourite BJSC discoveries) - that, plus the fact it's a Desbuanda entry tell me I'd probably like it, too bad I'm in the other semi. Gonna take quite a bit to beat that in my semi (haven't listened yet though)

I've got the MP3 in my Spotify library and the single EP shows up but it's greyed out. Similar story last month as only a long (inferior) version of Danse Avec Moi! was on Spotify as part of a random compilation and even that had only been added in the last few months.
August 28, 20177 yr I mean Cor Lupus have sent one of the best songs of the year (that i'd have sent in a heartbeat if I hadn't already sent Kacy a few years ago :'():wub: :wub: :wub: It was a live performance of this song that sold me actually! I heard it on TV and was completely mesmerized, and the studio version matched up to the expectations.
August 29, 20177 yr I was hoping my song might have been added to Spotify by the time the contest started as it was still very new at the time I found it but thus far it seems to be sadly staying as a Bandcamp/Vimeo exclusive :nocheer: So like y'all don't forget to listen to my song etc. Surprised at only 5 songs being missing from Spotify in a contest with 72 entries!
