Hode Sats songs deserved no.1, but the pop game is alll about hype - look at Little Mix. Their music is atrocious but they do so much better due to the manufactured Cowell machine. I doubt anyyy of the big songs about would do really well by an anoymous singer, but that's the game - gotta have a hype persona for the mahine and sheeple.
