Homesick is beautiful, my favourite album track

Really started stanning for Room for 2 recently after being so disappointed when it was an instant grat! Hope that can go high!

New Love is Dua's debut single and the first single as lead artist to drop out! Personally I like New Love and it works well in the context of the album, but as a single it definitely scream of someone who hasn't made it big yet if that makes sense. I think they did a decent job on the video considering they probably had no budget - it's very cute and a nice little intro to Dua (pretending I knew her pre-Be The One :P) (and the curse of MrLoverboy strikes again haha!)

Room for 2 was an instant grat towards the end of last year as the album got a huge pushback, but for me it has certainly got better with time! Originally I didn't think much of it, but it has grown to become an absolute staple. It receives a very decent 4 10s, however, it also receives two damaging -1s making it the song with the most -1s out of the whole rate!!! As one of the most polarising songs, it's not surprising to see it struggling to reach the upper half of the results, which is a shame.

'Room For 2' is an utter trash and is the reason why I was put off listening to this album until a good month or two after its release. The fact it scared me off such a great record for so long makes me dislike it even more.

'Room For 2' is the biggest loss for me so far! It was instant for me as it flew straight into my personal chart the week it was an Instant Grat. The moody vibe of it felt pretty different for her and it still stands out in a good way.

In an ideal world 'Last Dance' would win this but I'd be very surprised if it was anything but 'New Rules'.

Room For 2 is nice enough, I didn't like it for a hwile and still wouldn't go mad over it but it's not too bad. New Love is described perfectly by Ben, it reminds me of something I'd find looking for BJSC potentials and like but not ever go back to, I'd file it under "watch this artist for potential bangers" and ofc Dua gave us those :kink: You could feel the potential of Dua as an artist in it if that was the only track you had heard but the song itself is not a vessel tat fulfills said potential at all.
I hated Room For 2 at first, it's okay to me now, but still not among the best.
Lost In Your Light is my fave on the album!! 'Room For 2' is also really good, took a while to grow but it's definitely her most interesting song she's done sonically!

So Dua's flop single makes it to the dizzying heights of #14, which actually looks good compared to its weak af chart performance. It's a nice little album track but god knows what they were thinking releasing this as a single and not only as a single but the one which leads the album!!!! Thank god New Rules came along and saved her career. Shade aside, I do like Dua and Miguel together but it wouldn't have been anywhere near my top choices for a feature on her album.

13. Garden - 7.33

10 ~ HarryEzra, burbe, Jade

03 ~ blacksquare

Well I'm gutted at this not making the top 10 of this countdown. It's such a fave and you have truly paid it dust. I hope it becomes a single and winter smash hit to prove you all wrong because how dare you!!! And blacksquare, you are blacklisted xo

YAAAAAAAAAAAASS bye Garden. Weakest track on the album.

Lost In Your Light isn't that bad at all lmao I think it's getting too much hate because it was a flop single, I certainly wouldn't choose it as a single though
