I'm not 100% convinced. The last era was a total disaster aside from the first single, it's been 3 years since 'Flashlight' which R1 didn't support at the time.

I think with a killer lead single it would’ve peaked at like #37, with high sales and super low streams.

I wonder how this would have actually performed had she released it as a proper album?

 

Her track record tho... 4 x Platinum > Gold > Silver > Chart Ineligible

I think the last era showed that anyone can buy themselves a #1 single but it's not the same for albums

you fish/buy a song written by Max Martin with 2 super hot names like Ariana Grande and Nicki Minaj, and you get yourself a #1 single,

but even with that no one bought the Sweet Talker album, #1 week top 10 and gone

 

so I think she could get herself another hit if she did the same strategy but I think she's alienated her fanbase to the point that no one's gonna buy an album of hers anymore no matter what, if Bang Bang didn't make people wanna buy a Jessie J album, nothing will

There’s actually some really decent songs on this album so far .The ‘Sex’ section is definitely my favourite section so far . Play’ is a banger and I suggest she releases that as a single at some point next !

I actually quite like "Think About That"

I find all this hate for her so boring, it's so easy. She's actually underneath it all, really talented, and actually - China is one of the biggest markets for music so she's done amazingly well to win a show there.

 

The songs aren't amazing but they are well written.

I enjoyed the 'Sex' release, it is probably my favourite of the 3 segments we've received so far. Petty is my favourite new song.

I constantly get so much second hand embarrassment from the things she says and does.

 

It's at the point where I kind of feel bad for her and wish she'd just give herself a break from it. Schtaaap, gurl.

This is a strong collection, I'm really enjoying it :D

Jessi J is pretty much over imo. There's just no need for her anymore and she doesn't consistently come out with good enough material <_<
