MANiCURE | 3.32 MANiHATE: Liamk, Johnkm (9), allisvanity (8) MANiLOVE: Haus, John-James (0) The first song out and officially avoiding the top 10 of Gaga's worst songs is an ARTPOP album track. 'MANiCURE' is in-your-face, pulsating, riotous and frenzied - for many that is cause for hate but for some it is truly an eruptive and explosive song for these reasons. I can see why it's deemed as one of her worst but it didn't take a huge battering in this round and many of you found it the least offensive of the lot (including myself). Written by Gaga and produced by DJ White Shadow, she explains that the song is readying yourself for a manic night ahead to catch a partner, manicure your body, spirit and mind and then getting laid. It's a huge song for better or for worse and it has fortunately avoided the :puke: worthy top 10 here ~ 11. MANiCURE | 3.32

October 11, 20177 yr Author I personally found MANiCURE repulsive when the album first came out. Her vocals irritated me and I found it all unlistenable. Then it just clicked with me and the song became a total JAM and essential before nights out and when I needed a boost. So rousing and punch-the-air frantic. I do wish the outro happened after one more chorus or middle-8 type thing but it's a minor complaint ~ SHOULDN'T BE ON THIS LIST xo
October 11, 20177 yr Yeah MANiCURE sounded like a total highlight at Swinefest but the studio version falls a bit flat in comparison :( it's decent though.
October 12, 20177 yr I echo when Bal said "I personally found MANiCURE repulsive when the album first came out" - the only difference being, I still find MANiCURE repulsive years later.

Bad Kids | 3.84 BAD KIDS: Cardiib (10), Andrew (8) GOOD KIDS: Davidson, Jay Aly (0) We start the top 10 with Born This Way album track and firm FAVOURITE for some posters on here. 'Bad Kids' racked up enough nominations but didn't dominate the voting stage which means it's just scraped into the top 10 worst Gaga songs here (still a disaster). The song's lyrics are very playful and tongue in cheek but they don't really showcase her strength as a songwriter or really someone to be taken too seriously. The chorus goes off, but the verses are quite cringe worthy and messy. A f*** em all type song and a song that continues the message of the album it comes from - to be yourself, unashamedly, but it doesn't seem to deliver as strongly as tracks that surround it. The song did come about from stories Gaga heard from her fans while on tour which does make it seem like a totally sweet and genuine song as a tribute for her fans! I suspect some are gutted to even see it feature on the list but at least it hasn't racked up a huge average!
