'Swine' is a chaotic attack on a man that sexually assaulted Gaga in her teenage years. The anger and frustration towards this is evident in Gaga's screams, squeals and how she belches out the lyrics - it's very divisive and quite a clear contender for some as worst song because of how gruesome and grotesque it is. Described as a dubstep and industrial track, the production is equally as harsh and repulsive and while there is sentiments of a rhythm and structure in there, the song works on its total disregard of melody and soft sounds. It's an important song for Gaga and the history she's had (evident also in the 'vomit' she expelled during a live performance of it, which later received criticism from eating disorder campaigners). The song is totally batshit crazy and has understandably garnered a fair amount of hate, but I must say it's actually done better than I though it would here lmao. 09. Swine | 4.00 10. The final track on the EP/album is the twisted, sordid, demented 'Teeth' which you guys have named as Gaga's 8th worst song. Why have you done this? Perhaps because the song is relentlessly repetitive, and gruesome and would obviously jar with many. Described as a "perverse" march and an ode to sadomasochism and it has a dual meaning of this sexualised fantasy but also one of truth and being able to tell the truth. Are you sure y'all weren't just voting based on the artwork? Dope was the second promo single, released before the album, and went on to peak inside the Billboard Hot 100 top 10. The song is about Gaga's addiction to drugs following on from her hip surgery during the BTW Ball Tour. Fashion! | 4.95 Fantastique, chick, freak: lotti, esmeralda, aly, jahq, josh, cardiib (8) I own the world: allisvanity, jonjo (0), liamk (1) Just missing out on the top 5, we stay at ARTPOP this time for Fashion!, one of the most forgettable and offensively meh songs on the otherwise explosive album. When that intro kicks in, glistening and rich, it sets up what potentially could be a great song, but as soon as her vocals and lyrics hit it it's such a let down. A cute enough concept - feeling good in whatever you put on but delivered quite shoddily. Looking good and feeling fine, the Bowie-lite vocals, the annoying slurs, it's all a bit MEDIOCRE/bad and it's no wonder it's attracted such a poor response on here. 06. Fashion! | 4.95 07. Just Another Day | 5.11 I could learn a thing or two: john-james, liam, lotti (10) I won't be so hard on me: esmeralda, cardiib, allisvanity (1) Moving now onto songs over a 5.0 average, we go to the penultimate track on the deluxe edition of Joanne. Produced by Mark Ronson and featuring Brian Newman on trumpet, the song blows in all honesty. I can't really think of any redeeming features - very forgettable, totally lacking subtance and Gaga flair, no personality and nothing really to make me return to it.
