'Teenage Dream' vs 'E.T.', two iconic pieces of pop music in their own right, which means that we say goodbye to 'Firework' which received 13 votes and finishing in a very respectable 3rd place. After losing her biggest hit in the previous round, this time we lose which is arguably her 2nd biggest hit as well as featuring on the same album as the other 2 finalists, a definite classic pop album for the ages and after the one-two punch of 'California Gurls' then 'Teenage Dream', this 3rd single knocked it out of the park with an home run, turning Katy Perry into a mega multi platinum superstar reaching those heights that most artists can only dream of doing. Even to this day this anthem remains one of Katy's signature tunes and best loved songs (hence it's 3rd place finish here), with a combination of an empowering message and gigantic chorus, this ticks all the boxes and works well to it's advantage with an certain energy and hope that millions of people around the globe really connected to as well as sending this to the top of the charts. Did I forget to mention her vocals on this, which sound great which makes the whole thing really special and really gives it a more grander and epic feel to it's powerful production and so in all, this is just a fantastic pop song in all it's crowning glory. October 27, 20177 yr My Katy favourite pretty much changes daily between ET, Dark Horse & Teenage Dream but today I'm loving the latter loads so I've voted for ET. Either of those would make a fabulous winner though :wub:

November 17, 20177 yr Oh crap, I misunderstood the rules. I voted for Teenage Dream b/c it's my favourite (both out of the two and my fav KP track) but both songs are fab!
