I listen to everything on Spotify now, using Dan's playlists, and then drag my favourites from each contest into my own personal playlist of current faves. Any that are not on Spotify I listen to using the YouTube links and then download the MP3s for my favourites of those and import to Spotify (usually that's like one track but this month I have five earmarked to download).

Spotify (and YouTube/Soundcloud links for those unavailable). Belated thanks to Dan and anyone else who's compiled those playlists over the last while - makes life a lot easier!
I usually have my initial listen by using the YouTube playlist, then my second listen typically occurs when attending the plug.dj sessions. I also follow the Spotify playlists and will shuffle those in the background sometimes. I used to download the mp3 packs every month but I have been slacking with that this year, my poor deprived iPod.
Usually a plug.dj session as it's a lot more fun even though I can rarely stay the whole session, though just Youtube links/playlists (those are a god send!) otherwise as I often need to be giving it my full attention rather than being out and about. I download MP3s but only for songs I voted for, don't really want thousands of them on my iTunes making them look messy.
Still do mp3s, always helpful to keep a record of my favourites (and sometimes revisit old gems), always use the youtube links for at least the first listen (and Spotify playlists whenever it's most convenient)

First listen is the youtube/soundcloud links. I know this is a song contest, not a video contest, but I think if a song has a video it helps me understand what the lyrics are about. The song I will probably enter for BJSC101 has a dramatic video that I would like to think will help its chances.

I then listen to the best songs a second time from the Spotify playlist to finalise the voting order.

YT playlist, I am subscribed member and I have offline option, Spotify too but that always have some songs missing...and as usual plug dj.
I end up going to YouTube for a preview and then listen on both that and Spotify to see if songs will grow. The plug session always helps though, especially when you don’t have the patience or attention span for long semis.
I do my first listen through from the OP links (so obviously mainly Youtube), if I have time pre Plug sesh which I normally do, I'll at least skim out of curiosity just becasue it's exciting when they get revealed, then I come to Plug if I can, and then my fave ones I save to my Apple Music (I never really make a playlist for listening to them, just add the individual ones at the end as one of the annoying things about Apple Music is it adds to your library when you make a playlist so I end up with god knows how many songs I don't want).
mp3 cos it is SO easy to re-order songs into the right order until it feels just right that the song on top is better than the next one and that one is better than the one below, and so on....
Youtube but no one did playlists this contest so I used Spotify. I usually use youtube because I can not only flick through songs without having to open every song in a new tab via the OP links but I can Like whatever entries I want to download to my iTunes later via Liked Videos.
I have used Spotify for a couple of years now. Have never used mp3 and I'm not too keen on using money on it either.
Spotify all the way. The songs that aren’t on Spotify don’t get anywhere near as many listens as those that are, unfortunately. Spotify is so much easier, especially when listening on the move, so thanks Dan for putting the playlists together every time!

It's changed during the course of my participation. I used to download the mp3s but not anymore. Now I just listen on YouTube from the OP and sometimes attend a plug session (quite often I'll have already voted by that point and am just going on for the craic...very Irish saying here lol). I do enjoy seeing the music videos also if I like them. This is a bit beside the point but I find that my entries for example often have cool videos and maybe I'm influenced to send them partly for that reason as well, just cos I enjoy a good audio-visual experience and it makes the entry feel more like a "whole". Not all of them have had videos I've found great though, and some haven't had an official video.

I do listen on Spotify as well but that's usually after the contest is over and I've saved my faves.
