Right 200-101 will be on it's way shortly, spaced out for the next week so call this a top 200 countdown if you like :P

oh and I made a little mistake sorting the 200 -101 section out as I noticed I duplicated one of the tracks so one of the songs that was listed in missing out actually has made the top 200 lol!

doing some selected videos and commentary and some listed artists & song titles with commentary for this part!

yeah so this was good for a few listens but quickly became quite grating for me unfortuntely as I was finally beginnig to be on board with Hailee when 'Starving' came out. She did redeem herself with 'Let Me Go' however which is still to come

Perhaps not Little Mix's best from this era although 'Power' doesn't even appear in my countdown due to how screechy it is which really stops me from enjoying it properly.

198. Tina Guo – Wonder Woman Theme

197. Camilla Cabello – Never Be The Same

196. Little Mix – Is Your Love Enough

195. Dorothy – Down To The Bottom

Taylor's first appearance comes from a feature from man of the moment Ed Sheeran on 'End Games' at 197, goes in by default at 197 and was listed a bit higher up originally as I CBA to shift everything about now lol. New songs from Little Mix & Dorothy (who have several more to come) make an impression too along with Tina Guo's rendition of the Wonder Woman theme song, I went to see this after my birthday. Decent film but not amongst the best I've seen this year personally!

194. Demi Lovato - You Don't Do It For Me Anymore

193. Anohni – Paradise

One of the album tracks from Demi's album makes a splash at 194 with Anohni's 'Paradise' at 193, that would have been much higher earlier but fell out of favour as the year went on falling from the 30's in my mids to here just because I haven't revisited it lol!

A BJSC entry from Jadakissnia enters next at 192, rightfully should have qualified but again I kinda never really listened to it for months after oops!

Crystal Waters features of a underrated dance tune from early this year called 'Testify' which enters at 191!

190. Bruno Mars - That's What I Like

Bruno Mars latest era has been underwhelming to say the least, he's certainly distanced himself from the chart glory days of 'Grenade' 'Just The Way You Are' & 'When I Was Your Man'. This was ok for what it was but nothing remarkable or memorable really. 'Versace' was his best track from 24kMagic for me which is featured a little later on here!

Snakehips 'Don't Leave is 189 followed by another BJSC entry... this time from Oliver Moldan's 'High & Low', a decent song sent by Dan in the summer. Sadly by the time it was entered I was bored of it though hence why it's not done better overall!

187. Rita Ora - Your Song

186. Noah Cyrus Ft Labrinth - Make Me (Cry)

'Your Song' is a much inferior single to 'Anywhere' which will appear much much later obviously. It's overplay just annoyed me and it's such a basic Ed Sheeran clone. Miley's younger sister Noah released her debut single 'Make Me (Cry)' in November last year and was tipped to do very well but for some reason it just never happened and now I don't care much about that but it's still alright I guess!

Hi Rob

I did say when Anywhere first premiered that I did prefer Your Song but I think that has changed for me now and Anywhere will be appearing higher in my EOY too. Rita has delivered with every song so far this era, I'm ridiculously excited for the album IF it ever comes :drama:

Yay at two Little Mix inclusions too. Touch is by fair their best from the past year so I do hope that is still yet to come but the two included are fabulous too. Praying that Is Your Love Enough can be a big hit for them in early 2018

oh balls just realised it was Taylor Swift End Games that I duplicated with one track :kink:

Right before I post another. Number 197 is Taylor Swift Ft Ed Sheeran & Future - End Games (have only heard this once a couple of weeks ago and will probably do way better next year).

184. Cheat Codes Ft Demi Lovato - No Promises

183. Dead Husband - Healthy Boy

Yonaka's rock track is in next at 185, they were entered twice to BJSC and about 2 or 3 contests between each other too. Cheat Demi aren't Promised a better position than 184, neithers best for me and both have another appearance or two to come. Two more BJSC entries in at 183 & 182, the former being entered by our own Bray which I gave high points to, one of their his best entries this year and the latter sent by Sam of all people and GUESS WHAT SHE WON with it, out of all the possible female pop songs she entered and never took them to victory and yes this catchy slice of PC music won over the BJSC masses. This actually wasn't the only time she won with something out of her comfort zone and won and yep the other song she claimed a win with is still on it's way (

spoiler top 100

181. Taylor Swift - Dancing With Our Hands Tied

#180

At 181 we have another album track from Taylor at 181, 'Dancing With Our Hands Tied' falls victim to just one listen which puts it here even though it was just a couple of weeks back that I finally got round to hearing Reputation so it's not all bad really, maybe a single next year?

Persephonia (Bray) brings another of their BJSC entries to my countdown, this was a very intriguing and interesting song which grew on me a lot more by the time of the final!

177. Charlie Puth - Attention

#176

175. Paloma Faith - Crybaby

Another BJSC entry at 179 along with Demi's return single, some say it's SCREEEEEEECHY.... hmm it's nowhere near her best let's be sure but I respect her for trying something more urban. 'Attention' the lead single off Charlie's next album was very decent for a while, heck it was even top 40 in my eoy updates back in August but because I went off it massively and it started grating on me somehow it's tumbled like a brick to position 177!

Rag 'n' Bone Man's first of 3 showings here (sorry Buzzjack I know you hate his voice x) is with the rather unlikely pairing of rapper Logic who's big hit is also still to appear, this song was done for the Bright album and was released a few weeks back, it's quite good I think and lands up at 176. Paloma's comeback single 'Crybaby' is next at 175, her follow up to this was much better imo and is still to come!

172. Ed Sheeran - Eraser

#171

next batch sees another BJSC appearance, this time for Jupiter's entry from back in July... Smallpools 'Million Bucks', solid indie tune right here :music: the theme song from Moana which features Dwanye 'The People's Champion', 'The Rock' Johnson is at 173. One of my faves songs off the overexposed Ed Sheeran album which just returned to number 1 in the album chart yesterday... 'Eraser' sits at 172 followed by a Christmas offering from Sia, 'Candy Cane Lane' at 171. 'Santa's Coming For Us' doesn't make the countdown so sorry to disappoint anyone who likes that one :kink: it's alright but I prefer CCL! (haven't listened to the whole album though only a few tracks lol)

169. Sia - Move Your Body

168. James Hype Ft Kelli-Leigh - More Than Friends

167. Stormzy Ft MNEK - Blinded By Your Grace PII

166. Selena Gomez Ft Marshmello - Wolves

165. Taylor Swift - I Did Something Bad

#164

Into the top 170, the other Charlie single is here along with the redo of En Vogue's 'Don't Let Go'. Sia makes another appearance with 'Move Your Body', Stormzy's surprisingly religious single is at 167 followed by Selena Gomez's 'Wolves' which I didn't care for at all at first but it's grown on me the past couple of weeks, another album track from Reputation at 166 and topping this section off is the dance banger 'Baby' which brought Pixie Lott back to the scene after being quiet for several years and we thought she was finished :kink:

Love "How Long", "More Than Friends", "Blinded By Your Grace, Pt. 2", "Wolves" and "Baby" on your Year-End List!

All of them are great songs!

Testify was a great song from last year! I'd completely forgotten it was in BJSC though :o High and Low is a great tune though, can't deny that!

I didn't even realise it was BJSC tbh :o

Anywhere is AMAZE <3 Your Song is just alright but was never really good for me :(

Touch is still on the way as is Reggaeton Lento!

Lots of love for How Long & Baby. Blinded By Your Grace is also superb from that last section!

Glad you like those so far Dobbo!

Love "How Long", "More Than Friends", "Blinded By Your Grace, Pt. 2", "Wolves" and "Baby" on your Year-End List!

All of them are great songs!

162. ± CΔT - Moon Spells ±

Kanita's 'Don't Let Me Go' was hugely improved by this remix linked in the video post, a potential for BJSC that I looked at for myself but never went with in the end and also 'Moon Spells' being another for the witch house finds but not really catching my attention enough to want to send. JP Cooper's first of two songs appears at 161 (you know what the other is ;) )

LOVE 'Million Bucks', one of the best rock entries of the year! I'm also a fan of 'More Than Friends' and 'Blinded By Your Grace', both of which should've been just a liiiittle bit bigger hits but they did well enough :D
