I imagine some people would presume that 'Never Ever' was their debut. I know I did for a few years

(YESSS Babybird! Both of my parents love that song but I don't think I ever would've heard it if they didn't own Now 35, so a good shout)

Good choice! That's totally overlooked due to later moments as you say.

This was HUGE and is never mentioned anywhere these days... doesn't even make the 90s compilations I don't think?

I actually LOVE that Donna Lewis track, and the Paula Cole one. Haven't listened to them in too long, feeling a 90s playlist is to be compiled tomorrow!

cal reminded me of that donna lewis song on plug this year - i never knew who'd sung it, or what it was called but i looove it too!

despite being a number one smash it has been almost LOST to time in pop culture?

This is a slightly odd choice but this was pretty popular for a while...

omg 'hazard' is another one i only knew on the radio!!!!! never had a title or an artist to go with :o good choice.

one of my all-time faves, but never seemingly brought back :( it's about time we got a shite tropical house version of this for 2k18 and the charts methinks

Omg Sleeping Satellite is a bloody TUNE
this is so depressing that these songs are in the retro forum now :( madonna's 'music' came on the radio and my mum went 'oh that's an old song isn't it...' - my MUM.

Sweet Harmony is fantastic, I played their Conscience album to death and still love most of it now.

Even SQUIGGLYSYMBOLYPRINCE himself seemed to forget this one existed.

that's another one i don't know of! disgracefully not as up to par with prince as i should be.

this is one that was BIG but was obviously overshadowed by losing my religion and everybody hurts!
