Here's one Michael mentioned on the Ultimate Dance Hits 00s thread a while back which has been very much forgotten I think.

#6 in September 2001. Not a massive fan myself as it sounds a bit watered down tbh compared to Artful Dodger's more remembered singles but it counts as a fogotten 00s smash.

Here's a song I like more though, made #9 in March 2003, but seems to be largely forgotten about now.

This isn't exactly a smash but it is brilliant. I first heard it when Patrick Wolf supported Arcade Fire at Brixton Academy. When it was released as a single, it reached number 69. How appropriate.

:D I've got this on CD Single, sadly it wasn't even a hit - let alone enough to be forgotten. : (

I have LOADS for this.

Wait till I'm on me computer for a longer post, but I would ABSOLUTRLY start with one of the best #6 ever, 24/7  One of my favouite summer songs EVER

Used to get SO excited when this and Inmocent Girl (another forgotten #6 although it was referenced in an article about VB recently...) were played.

Here's a fantastic indie song from summer 2003 that reached #9 in the UK chart that has been largely forgotten.

I remember Kosheen but I much preferred their 2001 output - “Catch” in particular.

Also from that hot summer of 2003:

..and from early 2000 but largely (sadly) unplayed today:

I am sure a certain Buzzjack artist forum doesn't forget 'Overrated'.

Here's a #5 UK trance hit from early 2000 that seems to be rather forgotten

And a brilliant imo #2 reaching pop tune from 2003

Looks like 2000s are retro for many forum members.

Maybe I will re-launch "My favourite singles from UK chart" with my # 1s selection for this decade in 2018 year.

#8 in September 2001.

In this video New Order are "played" by a much younger band called the Killers. A young Brandon Flowers watching thought 'that's a good name'. :D

I'm loving the Chico entry Jade :yahoo:

I also enjoyed his Curvy Cola Bottle Body

For my suggestion, I would like to put forward Boogie Pimps - Somebody To Love. It is a great song and has the iconic video with the flying babies
