I’m pretty sure Kylie owns the full rights to KC and licensed it to Parlophone for release so even more reason for her to give it a little love each year.
If that is true I take back my point on the album feeling like a contract album.

up to 132 on Amazon Itunes.

imagine if kylie fans download from this Friday and can get around 500-1000 download sales

would it be enough to push it top 40 ?

129 on UK itunes, highest position in a long while...

Last time Santa Baby was in the UK top 100 on Itunes was 12th December 2012!!!!!

Highest ever position on Uk Itunes 69 on the 9th December 2011!!!!!!!

Debuted on the itunes top 100 at 93 on Christmas Eve 2010

Yes, SB will start to outperform other Christmas tracks close to it next week...shame Eve is in a Thursday though. It’s all good though, great Kylie has a song that has such streaming power, and it’s not even original but she’s made it her own...such a special recording within her back catalogue.

Kind of hoping she tweeted about Christmas yesterday that she may release something Friday for us.

wishful i know.

Even if she tweeted about Santa Baby she would get extra downloads lol.

It will likely miss the top 40 but not by much.

I was very confident last week of Top 40 this year.

My confidence has reduced now.

Currently #44 on Spotify with 152,958 plays - it’s seems to be mirroring its Spotify position on the official charts each week so expecting a 42-45 place on Friday, not too disappointed as it charting is a bonus anyway just frustrating as it’s so close to getting a new peak.
It was the year for its 20th anniversary physical that should have been released tomorrow.
Come on BMG, on its 20th Anniversary release a little EP tomorrow :)

I think this album is all down to Kylie - she/Darenote own the rights and it’s nothing to do with BMG. Maybe we would have got something if the planned Christmas shows had gone ahead this year - I’m sure it would have result in decent boosts for SB and KC had they happened :nocheer:

Yep

i am just thinking of BMG saying they are releasing new things every 4 weeks to help with streaming but nothing since the album yet. i understand delaying Real Groove Remixes/EP etc but thought they may instead release a low key Christmas EP to keep up their plan
