Thought Bey's 4 would be 10k higher.

Also...may I know where her I Am... Sasha Fierce placed in the top 200 with total sales estimate?

Last figure I have is 1,638k from Feb 17 but it's too far now from the top 100 now so i don't track it unless I happen on an updated figure.

70. GET WEIRD- Little Mix (76-70) 758,100

69. LADY KILLER- Cee-Lo Green (23-28-37-45-54-59-69) 772,900

68. JAKE BUGG- Jake Bugg (57-53-59-62-68) 773,700

67. A PERFECT CONTRADICTION- Paloma Faith (82-56-58-67) 774,100

66. LEGEND- Bob Marley & The Wailers (81-66) 781,100 (T/S 4,337,100)

Little Mix had no albums on the list 2 years ago but now “Get Weird” is the first of two albums from them here. Paloma Faith’s best showing so far clocks in at No 67 but the real star is Bob Marley & The Wailers climbing an impressive 15 places.

65. CEREMONIALS- Florence + The Machine (54-38-44-54-55-57-65) 783,000

64. MY WORLD- Justin Bieber (12-22-29-40-47-52-56-64) 799,200

63. SCIENCE AND FAITH- The Script (19-27-30-39-44-50-54-63) 804,200

62. CHAOS AND THE CALM- James Bay (98-61-62) 806,300

61. TO BE LOVED- Michael Buble (50-48-51-55-61) 814,700

First outings here for Florence + The Machine, Justin Bieber, and Michael Buble but all have better to come. James Bay can’t quite maintain his climb of his last year but does move over the 800,000 mark.

I purchased bob Marley this year i can’t remember the last time it was our of the iTunes top 100.

It's really amazing to see so many greatest hits albums having big jumps this year. I'm assuming it's a combination of a lack of new entries in the chart for this year and streaming becoming more dominant, so are likely to trickle sell/stream better than a lot of the studio albums that are falling. Will be interesting to see what the highest greatest hits album is. Hope P!nk's one can make a nice climb as it charted quite a lot in the top 100 in 2017.
They sell well especially when at £4.99

60. NOEL GALLAGHER’S HIGH FLYING BIRDS- Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds (27-32-38-46-48-52-60) 837,500

59. OLLY MURS- Olly Murs (20-24-27-32-40-46-51-59) 837,700

58. NEVER BEEN BETTER- Olly Murs (53-53-58) 839,900

57. GREATEST HITS- Foo Fighters (71-66-68-70-70-66-69-57) 841,600 (T/S 1,157,600)

56. ULTIMATE COLLECTION- Whitney Houston (81-97-76-75-67-56) 847,300 (T/S 1,557,900)

Foo fighters and Whitney continue to prove the quality of their back catalogue by improving year on year. Olly Murs surfaces twice and still has another two albums to come, and Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds still have some way to go to replicate the success of their debut.

55. BACK TO BLACK- Amy Winehouse (55-60-78-80-74-60-55) 848,500 (T/S 3,880,500)

54. LIGHTS- Ellie Goulding (24-25-35-41-42-47-50-54) 849,600

53. TIME FLIES 1994-2009- Oasis (38-62-67-77-72-72-66-53) 868,500

52. DISC-OVERY- Tinie Tempah (29-21-26-33-39-45-49-52) 868,600

51. LIONESS: HIDDEN TREASURES- Amy Winehouse (31-25-31-37-43-48-51) 876,400

On course for another million before the decade end “Black To Black” continues to chase “Lioness” as Winehouse’s best seller of the decade. Oasis also have a good year and we get the first of two Ellie Goulding albums.

55. BACK TO BLACK- Amy Winehouse (55-60-78-80-74-60-55) 848,500 (T/S 3,880,500)
Almost a palindrome chart run there for Back To Black!! :magic:

Never Been Better was released in 2014, has it really only been on this for two years?

Bob Marley's sales are woefully underreported by the OCC.

50. GLORY DAYS- Little Mix (NEW) 876,900

49. NOTHING BUT THE BEAT- David Guetta (90-46-36-41-44-47-49) 880,100

48. THE TRUTH ABOUT LOVE- P!nk (63-34-36-42-45-48) 887,300

47. ELEMENT OF FREEDOM- Alicia Keys (7-17-24-28-33-41-44-47) 894,300 (T/S 1,032,800)

46. BAD BLOOD- Bastille (79-49-49-46-46) 906,800

Proving that they are indeed getting bigger and bigger, Little Mix’s biggest album is their latest “Glory Days” which must be on course for a million sometime before the decade end? Pink’s first album shows up at No 48 and Bastille show consistency holding at No 46.

Bob Marley's sales are woefully underreported by the OCC.

Why do you think that? 4.33 million seems about right to me. Used to see it at less than 3m which was obviously miles too low.

I remember when it first came out on just LP and cassette and was 12 weeks at No.1 all summer of 1984.

45. MIDNIGHT MEMORIES- One Direction (45-34-38-43-45) 910,500

44. COME AROUND SUNDOWN- Kings Of Leon (11-15-21-25-30-35-41-44) 935,000

43. 18 MONTHS- Calvin Harris (89-42-38-40-42-43) 940,700

42. GREATEST HITS...SO FAR- P!nk (32-35-34-35-35-36-40-42) 985,900

41. RECOVERY- Eminem (9-16-22-26-32-34-38-41) 1,000,500

Joining the million club at some point in 2018 will be Pink’s “Greatest Hits” but already slipping in last month was Eminem’s “Recovery”. A second One Direction album takes a bow and Calvin Harris shows that releasing 59 singles from an album can help it sell…

Is the 4,337,100 inclusive of streams?...as the last official figure for Legend by the OCC for sales only is/was 3,550,000 and it was said to be the 14th biggest seller ever, at that time, but the 4.33 million would put it at 6th!

Maybe streams. Gezza do you mind me asking where the 4.33m figure for Legend is from as the last OCC one I remember seeing, as garyfeld says, was 3.55m. Have they updated recently or is it an estimate from someone?

Shame to see Pink’s GH fall out of the top 40 but great to see its closing in on a million sales.

Yes it does HOWEVER the OCC figure is well below what it really is. We can be certain of its sales this decade, and the 996,000 it sold in the 00s, plus 1.21 million in the 90s so that makes 2,893,000. That means that the OCC reckon the album sold 657,000 in the 80s (using their figure) which clearly can't be the case for the 17th biggest album of the 80s especially as MW reported that by the end of the 80s we know the 31st biggest album of the decade (Phil Collins' "But Seriously") crossed the million mark before 1989 closed. My own estimate for the 80s stands at 1,350,000. Hence the difference between my figure and the OCC along with the eternal question of the 94-96 period. :D
