December 18, 20222 yr Joseph mentioning TV Time in passing made me download it and it's giving me the motivation to go into the new year watching more :kink: (it's a heavenly app for organisation) Currently rotating between the following shows: Bee and PuppyCat (TY Chez for the recommendation, not got into an animated show this much in a while) The Crown (slowly trying to get back into this as I do find the more general historical bits interesting) EastEnders (I watched between 2007-15, then didn't watch for 7 years and was lured back in with the flashback episode, slowly catching up) Everything I Know About Love (a 24 year old aspiring journalist lead lured me in) Sex Education (determined to finally finish this x) Top of the Pops (anything from 60s to the current 90s repeats on BBC4) Wednesday (enjoying the strong-willed lead and goth sets/music/looks)
December 18, 20222 yr Ooo The Crown is a good one Jade, although I did find the latest series more mid tier than the first four for various reasons, mainly I thought the writing wasn't up to scratch at times. EastEnders has been on quite a high lately too, definitely the most consistent patch it's had for a good few years at least.
December 19, 20222 yr I need more people to watch 'Interview With The Vampire'. Such a great show! Top 3 shows of the year for me. Jacob "Raleigh Ritchie" Anderson is incred and Sam Reid is brilliant! Excellent storytelling, steamy, sexy and one of my favourite Vampire shows!

I just checked, and Disney+ only has up to the middle of Season 4, yet Season 5 just started in the US. With it recently rising to £10.99 a month it's starting to feel more wasteful to keep it going every month, given that I've only watched two different shows on there in 2023 so far... although my Dad uses it regularly at least. If it was just me, I'd dip in and out more. I should browse through my saved list and make a concerted effort to focus on Netflix shows! I come and go with Disney+. I re-joined to watch Abbott Elementary and then cancelled it once I was done, and I haven't bothered to see if there's something else I'd like to watch while the subscription is still active. NOW tends to be very good at enticing me to keep my subscription going with "don't go, we'll give you money off!" deals (currently I'm on a £4.99 a month subscription). But now that The Last of Us is over and I've realised that Yellowjackets Season 2 is on Paramount+, maybe I should cancel. I have Amazon Prime as a yearly subscription. That's mainly for the perk of one day deliveries, but I have to say I have enjoyed a lot of what I've seen on Amazon Prime. Still not over them cancelling The Wilds though. <_<

March 25, 20232 yr I’m currently introducing my partner to Doctor Who! Finally! And in doing so I’ve realised that 1) I am not a 9th Doctor fan, sorry Chris but you just don’t do it for me like David. Some great episodes in S1 and I love Rose and Jack but meh. 2) The Girl In The Fireplace is a GREAT episode. I used to pass it up on rewatches sometimes because I didn’t like it as a kid but wow it’s a solid episode on all fronts. Definitely a Top 4 story from S2

Dominique Fishback (the main actress in it) is so incredible in it. :cheeseblock: It's rather heavy viewing so maybe something to be in the right frame of mind for, although there is some sprinkles of humour in it too!
