Congrats Dobbo again, killing it :o I very much approve of that winner as I awarded 'Boomerang' 7 points. My 10 and 8 completed the top 3 also *.* and my 12 wasn't far off the top 5. So all in all, my favourites did very well. Looking forward to the next edition of this ~

Yes, no one is surprised I sent the only Asian entry :P I originally was going to go with something else, but Snakey and I got to talking about the parapara dance craze in Japan that was this same era of music, and the conversation ended up in my going through a bunch of songs I enjoyed from then and sending one.

I was actually shook at such a thing as J-pop eurodance existing!! It worked much better than it should have :P

Only just finished work so sped-read all seven pages!!

 

The moment I saw the theme I knew I had to send K2, finding it on Youtube was a brilliant "What the hell" moment - did get a bit excited when I was briefly second but really happy to get top 5, thought opinion would be split much more!!

 

Overjoyed to see Jasmin win. Fun fact, it was released in 1996 but only achieved its German singles chart peak in 2010 after a RATM-style chart campaign against a reality TV winner! Loved it ever since I discovered it on Youtube while binge-watching happy hardcore hits about a decade ago.

 

Credit to Maxx, Melodie MC and Da Buzz too which were all in my votes and deserved to rate higher! Looking forward to the next one!

Congrats to Dobbo again, another real highlight and great example of how uniquely wonderful the genre can be (and fitting that an actual European song won, especially Germany as that is quite prominent for the genre!). K2 (thank you Billy for bringing that into my life *__) and Tune Up (would never have that down as Michael!) that high up are fantastic to see as well.

 

Awww at just missing the top 10 on a tiebreak, but at least it didn't completely blend in like I feared! I thought it sounded like a good rip off of Mr Vain which was good enough for me, thanks to Jupiter and Mattias for the high points in particular <3
