You'd be surprised, Buzzjack has quite a few Leona fans.

 

If the Leona version is the one that's being pushed to radio then in theory she should get a credit, but that's usually not the case - see Mabel receiving no credit for 'My Lover' despite her version having outsold the original.

Funny cause, after all the debate about the Beyoncé credit, the original is back ahead on iTunes and Spotify and has been for a while!

Calum Scott and Leona Lewis on the same track sounds like the most MOR thing I've ever seen, on paper. :lol:

it's almost as MOR as the Bryan Adams/Barbra Streisand duet from back in the day

Well the Calum/Leona collab was uploaded by mistake this morning and I managed to hear it and I really like it.

 

I liked the song before but I do think Leona's vocals on it take it up a notch.

The Calum/Leona duet will be released at midnight. I do like the song and it's something I can see being played on Heart/BBC Radio 2 (they just B-listed the solo version). The duet gives the song a little more punch and I would love for it to go top 40. It's been over 4 years since Leona's last top 40 hit ("One More Sleep"). Feels a lot longer though.

Kendrick's 'Black Panther' project is released tomorrow. I wonder how all those tracks will fare? I imagine it'll be a lot more beneficial on streaming, but there's huge hype surrounding this album and film!
