  • They can now set their safety net at any after the £1,000 question.

Really thought Calum would go all the way, Clea was one of the most interesting contestant since Millionaire was revived.

Scott not sure what to think of him.

The F1 question for £125k that was a bit too easy hence if you're a F1 fan.

It's clear that it wont be until Friday that the millionaire is revealed because ITV know that ratings will drop later on in the week if they reveal the one and only millionaire winner earlier.

Yes it'll be Friday as if it was before ratings would plummet for the last shows.

I wasn't sure about the album one last night. Not in to modern music! I'd an idea it was Lewis. Between him and Billie as knew it wasn't either of the others. Surprised that neither of her phone a friend knew it and were supposed to be in to music.

Am I the only one hoping tomorrow night's audience is terrible because ITV have taken all the tension out of the programme?

It's earlier, 8.30, after Corrie and should be the week's biggest audience.

I still hope they fail miserably. Part of the appeal of the programme used to be the tension involved in not knowing how well contestants will do. ITV have destroyed that.

I agree, it would be better if a viewer had the mindset that nobody will win the million and then the surprise happens. On the other hand spoiling the fact that someone will win the million is what would keep the casual viewers watching throughout the week (of which I am one of them). Was there any kind of spoiler before the first ever person won it?

There was, there was some controversy at the time that they purposely released the fact in advance so that the episode would eat into the ratings of the last episode of “One Foot In The Grave”.

Yes, Judith Keppel was revealed to have won by The Sun, who sponsored the show then.

I see. So it's kind of similar to what is happening now then, the ratings for EastEnders and the 9 PM showing of Gogglebox will probably be lower because of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire being on at the same time.

That is some cosmic stuff. The £500k question was a politics one (he's a politics teacher), and the million pound question was on a subject he taught 8 years ago.
