March 11, 20187 yr Author GotG has one of the weakest and most pointless plots of the stand alones though. It really is quite bad in comparison to Marvel’s usual standard.
March 11, 20187 yr GOTG2 is the perfect example of taking what worked with a movie, basing the sequel around it and ending up with a complete and utter mess. It has about half an hours worth of story AT MOST. It's hilarious and visually it's very captivating, but it's essentially a series of brilliant scenes with almost no through line. Black Panther is a similar story for me (hence the 8), it's visually stunning and the music is ace, plus some of the characters are fantastic but there really isn't enough story for a 2 hour plus movie and there's just not enough character development.

Anyway I was thinking of doing my own thread of this, not a rate or anything, just my own personal ranking of all 18 Marvel movies, including my own thoughts and my own personal review and plus VERY, VERY, VERY :dance: EXCITED for AVENGERS - INFINITY WAR, and even got my tickets booked for the 26th of April and just cannot wait.

March 23, 20187 yr Only on Buzzjack would you find people rating GotG 2 higher than Black Panther 🤣 GotG 2 is funny and has an interesting plot and great characters Black Panther is great for being black-fronted but doesn't live up to other Marvel movies like Civil War
