To be fair, in the battle of trying to eradicate homophobia from society what's the point of demonising someone for something they did when they were 14? She realises her mistake, there are bigger fish to fry.

I believe she deserves a second chance here.

Twitter gays are obsessed with "cancelling" everyone, as said she was 14... If we "cancelled" everyone who used that language when they were 14, there'd be barely anyone left on the charts. Obviously that language shouldn't be used but Aly is right, there are far fiercer battles to be fought than her saying a few things in like 2012. People just love to make drama out of anything, if only they would this energy into something more helpful, but people never bother where it's actually needed.
I'm just pointing out the article  I agree with everything you guys have said tbh!

My ire was more aimed at a lot of the stuff I've seen on Twitter about it, some of them properly want her blood!

All right she was stupid to make those tweets. She's apologised

Yes this looks like being a flop.

Generic comment about Louisa's comments when she was 14.

I can't believe this song has managed 19 pages of discussion

I hope the song can rebound, it deserves too!
Only just survived top 100 this week

This is going to flop, isn’t it?

I’m not sure what’s left for them to revive it now? The video is out, it’s had the 59p treatment on iTunes, made its way onto a few streaming playlists and she’s done some TV promo. I can’t see remixes benefiting the song that much so would be surprised if it manages to rebound.

Yeah, they need to get it high up on Hot Hits

Even Radio 1 playlisting would be kinda too late now. If it were playlisted this Friday it’d only be C list which does kinda nothing. The Kiss/ Capital plays are already winding down.

So a new article has come out claiming Louisa could be dropped, following the charting of her latest single. I dunno how reliable this is though as it only says "a source"

The X Factor winner apparently could be dumped if her new single fails to make an impact on the charts.

And so far, it's not looking great.

Despite her new song YES - featuring US rapper 2 Chainz - being pretty amazing, it's only managed to peak at Number 65 so far. This week the song fell to Number 92.

"Everyone has high hopes for Louisa's latest bid to establish herself. There's a buzz about, but it really is make or break," a source said this week.

They told the Daily Star on Sunday newspaper: "Everyone has a lot of faith in her ability and there's no denying her talent, but if she doesn't have a big hit soon she will be dropped.

"There's only so long you can keep spending on an artist and not make the money back."

Speaking of her new song last month, Louisa said: “As soon as I recorded Yes I knew it had to be a single. It instantly became my favourite song I’ve ever worked on," Louisa said. “You can’t help but move when you hear this track, I hope everyone is ready.”

Unusually for an X Factor winner, Louisa has still yet to put out her debut album despite appearing on the show back in 2015.

In 2016, the champ of the 12th series collaborated on 'Tears' with Clean Bandit which went into the Top 10.

Louisa then released debut single single 'So Good' followed by 'Best Behaviour'.

In 2017, Louisa collaborated on fellow X Factor star Olly Murs' latest song Unpredictable.

Tears feels so much longer ago than 2016. I wouldn’t be surprised if she were dropped after how things went with Ella who actually had success.
