A good song but I'm surprised to see it so high! I guess it is one that is considered a fan favourite but it hasn't really stuck with me too much personally.

April 21, 20187 yr I would've never called Love Me Like You to beat Black Magic, but I'm extremely glad to see that is so! *. I think that might be my favourite from them, I don't rlly rate a lot of their big hits unfortunately. These Destiny's Child songs that have gone are complete classics, I'm really surprised at the dissent for them in this thread (and I'm not even that big a Beyonce fan).

April 21, 20187 yr Surprising to find out Survivor never hit #1 in US...I always had a feeling that all of their song post Independent Woman hit #1 lol. On the other side, I'm surprised to find out 'Unpretty' was a #1 for TLC lol. Such a great uplifting song with lovely message :heart:

It was released as the official Comic Relief single and went to be their fourth consecutive #01 hit with huge sales. It also had a video with French & Saunders which also helped sales. It is a song that reminds me of my childhood greatly but it's not one I come back to, I think it's quite annoying to listen to and one of my least fave Spice songs now. They have so much better than this, I'm pleased if a bit surprised to see it not as high as I thought it might have been.

It was released as their debut single in the UK and was a huge long running Top 10 hit for them, and I still hear it every now and then! It also went on to be a Top 20 hit in the US. It was originally released in 2007 in their home country, Australia, and was a huge selling hit over there - '4ever' was soon released as their second single in the UK and was an okay selling Top 20 hit for them, but it was released originally in 2005 (!!) and released in the UK almost five years later, so that was always going to work against them. I love the song myself, it is a huge pop song with an infectious chorus and such great replay-ability factor. I wouldn't necessarily consider it a girlgroup single but still, what a song!

It was released as the follow up to their #01 hit 'Wings' with a full X Factor performance and became a Top 5 hit for them, but wasn't a huge seller and didn't stick around for long in the charts unfortunately. As a package, it is amazing - the video, the production and everything about it and whilst it is a very strong pop song, it's not one I come back to much unfortunately. Still, a great song from them.

April 21, 20187 yr 'Who Do You Think You Are?' Is good, but it's never been a fave of mine either. I was also someone who vastly preferred 'Mama' :o 'Untouched' is fantastic. When relistening to it I was unsure as to how well it'd have held up today, but 10 years later and it's aged very, very well imo. Packs so much punch! 'DNA' is phenomenal. What a banger. It's been a fave of mine from them since first listen, but I think I will always hold it in high regards! Exactly what I wanted from them. :wub:

Probably bottom 5 LM singles for me. LMLY, on the other, has been a huge grower. What a song. :wub: 'Untouched' is amazing too, and 'Unpretty' and 'What About Us' are nice enough.

April 22, 20187 yr I find I like DNA a bit less and less over time while LMLY has gone on to become my fave Little Mix track alongside Move! Justice for WDYTYA! (And all over Spice classics not in the top 20!!!)

DNA is SO good, Wings as a debut was nice but a bit throwaway whereas I feel like DNA really showed what they were capable of and was a sign of the great things that were to come! How the hell can anyone rank Untouched a 0 or a 1? Jesus... Omg ikr :lol:

It was sadly beaten to #01 by ''It's Like That'' by Run DMC & Jason Nevins which was absolutely huge at the time. I remember it being a huge thing that they hadn't got to #01 at the time, to the point where there has even been campaigns to get it to #01. It is still one of their better known songs, much more so than some of their #01's even I would say! It is a great song, not a fave, but I still really like it.
