At #43 is one hit wonder girlgroup, G.R.L. with 'Ugly Heart' which hit #11 in the UK and was also a sizeable hit in Australia hitting #2 over there! Sadly it didn't make the Top 100 in the US where they were paid dust. Very unfrotunately, shortly after it's release, Simone passed away :( It was such tragic news and helped the singles performance somewhat. The song itself still sounds incredible, an amazing pop song with a lot of emotion to it I feel - but maybe that's just due to the circumstances surrounding it. After it's release they released a tribute to Simone in the stunning 'Lighthouse' which failed to make Top 40.

Ugly Heart 😍😍 another all time fave girlband song, such an excellent pop song <3 Though I do prefer Lighthouse which is just a stunning song ❤️

At #42 is another Girls Aloud song, this time the second single off of their final studio album ''Out Of Control'' and followed their huge #01 hit ''The Promise'', it scraped the Top 10 for the girls and was a relative hit for them. I think it's remembered quite fondly by fans - both this and 'Untouchable' seem to have become fan favourites by them over the years. I personally really like it, there is something very melancholic and emotional about it from the production to their voices, as well as the lyrics. Deserved better on the charts, but then what else is new.

At #41 and just missing out on the Top 40 is Little Mix with 'Black Magic' - the lead single off of their third studio album 'Get Weird' and their third #01 hit at the time as well, it even managed to get them a Top 100 appearance in the US, one of the only times they have managed it in the US. It's now probably their biggest hit alongside 'Shout Out To My Ex', a fun, unapologetic in your face pop song that's just catchy and a lot of fun! Something that is often missing from the charts lately. I still really like it but I don't think it's aged as well as some of their others but I was expecting to see it higher than this!
